Recommended

Very Much so recommend Pets Plus. They are easy to deal with and claims submitting is good. For this particual visit I had submitted a Pre-approval to them and this did take some extra time to come but just wanted to make sure that once I made the appt and paid it woudl be reimbursed. need to get my oher cat set up now;)

I recommend Pets Best to every pet…

I recommend Pets Best to every pet owner I know. It gives us SO much peace of mind knowing we don't have to decide between be able to treat our pet and money. Worth every penny.

Claim rejected with no explanation

The majority of the cost of my claim was initially rejected without explanation. I had to call to get the information to correctly resubmit the claim. Even then it took over a month. This process was less than smooth.

Care for your sick fur baby!

You know when your fur baby is sick you want the best care for them and that can be expensive. I got SPOT insurance on my Yorkie when she was just a puppy and I am so glad I did. I just upload my receipt, tell them about the illness or injury and a week later have the Explanation of Benefits and paid back my portion. I recommend SPOT for your fur baby!

Asking a few questions

I called just to ask a few questions and Kelsey was very pleasant to talk to. She answered all of my questions and help me understand what I need to do to get their medical records to y'all.

Money Grab Scam - They'll Create Pre-Existing Conditions

I adopted a 8 month puppy from the shelter. A medical review was completed at that time and he was found in good health. Two weeks after I adopted him, I signed up for Embrace insurance. 2 weeks after that, I had to take him to the vet due to diarrhea. I submitted the claim along with his medical history that the shelter provided me (again clean bill of health). The adjuster denied my claim stating that the upon medical history review he found that diarrhea was a "pre-existing condition" and any treatment for that condition would be denied throughout the policy year. What? the medical history from the shelter EXPLICITELY states he had no diarrhea and when I go to get it treated it created a pre-existing condition. Of course I canceled my policy. What a joke. It's better to pocket that monthly $25 than spend it on this company.

I don't understand how they determine how much you get back from a claim.

What I don't understand is from a bill for $502 I only get $90 back. Is it because I only have Basic in Wellness. How can I lower my Annual Deductible if that will help. I pay $65.37 every month for two dogs. That is $784.44 a year and this is the first time I sent in a claim for just regular check-up and shots and my dogs have been covered since 2020. Help, this is very expensive for a low income person. And why the delay in Duchess'. She was in for the regular check-up and shots
