I get a ton of email from them
I get a ton of email from them, and get asked for a review, even though I’m still in their crazy 15 day black out period. Stop the madness

Look for any excuse to deny coverage
Too expensive. Got inaccurate vet records. Will deny coverage for most things. Look elsewhere.

How much?
When I signed up over the phone I was quoted more than the price quoted on email. When I asked about the higher price it turned out the person on the phone added on something I didn't ask for. I don't appreciate those tactics, Otherwise the process went smoothly.

Best Pet Insurance Available
I signed up in 2011 with Healthy Paws for a new pup I got from a rescue. My beloved schnauzer fell seriously ill in Dec 2023, and was hospitalized for over 3 weeks in the vet ICU. The bill was a staggering $22k, and Healthy Paws covered most of it. They are compassionate and fast, and while I lost my dog on Christmas Day, I was able to give him the best care because I had Healthy Paws working with me. Five stars all around! My vets always told me that pet insurance never covers anything, but trust me, Healthy Paws is not like any other insurance. Thanks to them, my dog was given a fighting chance.

I wasn't given the option to add preventative health in my plan. Which is the whole reason I signed up.

Huge increases, slow payouts
Update: PB still takes a very long time to pay out but it did pay out a very expensive operation. So I am adding a star. Like all pet insurance companies they lure you in with a reasonable monthly rate and then rapidly increase it every year, often 50% or more. Pets Best also takes an enormously long time to pay out, last time I put in a claim it took about 2 months. I barely got any money back as it was the first time my cat had been to the vet all year and I hadn't yet paid down my deductible. I was shocked to see the huge increase I got this year. I will likely keep one more year then drop it if it goes up again.

Buyer Beware!!
The customer service is the only reason I gave a 3. I would have given 5 stars on friendly, informative and professionalism. However, I would have given 1 star evaluation based on Fetch polices. Buyer Beware!! This means as your pet ages and your insurance will increase... For the past couple of years our insurance premium has increased by at least 20% each year! I have had my monthly payment go from $43.00 per month (pup was under a year) to her Second Birthday it was jumped to $58.00 per month! (Don't forget the $6.00 per month charge for processing for on top of that.) There is only 2 options to lower this monthly fee. 1) To adjust her coverage from $10,000 annually to $2,500. Or... 2) To increase my deductible from $300 to a higher annual deductible. (Which replenishes every year at the date you started the policy.) I chose option 1. Which means I have less coverage annually incase something does happen. In my option, based on what I know now, I would research other insurance company's before signing with Fetch. And now I'm waiting for the year I get the increase... I can no longer afford to keep insurance for my beloved pet....Or have so little coverage...what will be the point of it. Keep looking.. For the the T in True. UPDATE in response to Fetch Pet... For the annual increases there may not be a "set" increase. However the percentage I gave is based on the past few years. And these Are the increases I have experienced thus far. And I would like to warn others of these facts. My father has other insurance provider for his dog and his annual increases have been under 5 dollars per month and he has been with them for over 4 years. Without adjusting his coverage! As for the transparency you claim your company has, "the bunch of Other options" to lower the cost of the premium, please due tell us all. I just do not understand why I have to adjust my coverage to make up for the hike in rates. For anyone New to the pet insurance world. Please do your research. I want to help & inform as many as I can. This review is not based on friendly customer service, it is based on their policies. I feel there are other pet insurance company's out there that have more competitive rates & better overall coverage.
