Best Customer Service Experience
This was my first time having to file a claim and unfortunately I had to take my little guy twice in one week to the vet. Talk about a big bill. Healthy Paws made the process super easy from beginning to end. Afterwords they even reached out to see how my feline friend was doing. Great customer service!

Shoutout to Carmen for great customer service!
Just wanted to commend Carmen on her great customer service while having to file my first claim. She was very helpful and understood the stress of needing to use their service, my poor Zen was hurt and had to go to the ER. Anyone with pets knows that filing a claim is usually a result of some misfortune and she was knowledgeable and patient and helpful. I’ve had so many poor customer service experiences that I now commend those who provide good service. So glad I purchased this insurance.
2 years ago I purchased Embrace insurance, I was not happy with them. After joining a Facebook pet insurance group, I read up on peoples posts and replies. I saw a few insurance policies that looked interesting to me, I called several of them and ultimately chose Met life Pet. My coverage includes wellness, illness, and accident, it was 250.00 deductible and 0 dollars out of pocket once I met the 250.00 deductible. My coverage was 5k per cat ( I have 2) total of 10K. One of my cats developed colitis, and the monthly prescription is 100% covered because it was not a per-existing condition. My experience with submitting claims has been seamless when using the phone app. I am able to send claims on the computer as well. Customer service has been fantastic by phone and email. It is best to call for the best policy quote, CS reps are very knowledgeable when speaking by phone. I have heard that the coverage available have changed, but it is still a good deal. I am very happy with the insurance!!

Pet Medical Insurance is no different…
Pet Medical Insurance is no different from human medical insurance. I hate that they treat animals the same as humans: will not cover pre-existing medical issues. The cat was born with a heart defect - NOT covered. Sometimes I feel like Henry Masuka [Toronto CA], a similar situation as in "John Q." starring Denzel Washington. But for emergency issues such at injury Embrace covered a small portion. I have on more than one occasion requested increased ER coverage but have been met with MUCH resistance on Embrace Pet Insurance part. But I will keep pushing THEM!
