We feel so fortunate to have Healthy Paws Insurance, which made it so much easier to afford the life-saving decision to have Brambleberry have back surgery after he lost the use of his hind legs. Waste of Money
Our first time we submitted a claim, the procedure should have been covered but we didn’t get any return due to a deductible. That was a let down, but we shrugged it off. The second claim we submitted, the deductible also ate into it and three of the line items weren’t covered. After dishing out over $200 for this one visit, it felt pretty crappy to only get $50 back from Pets Best. Additionally, it took them over a month to pay out. We submitted our claim on 8/9 and then they changed our claim date to 8/12 and it was stuck in the review process until yesterday. “Follow-up” was three boiler plate emails saying “Sorry for the delay” with no real reason for the delay. We didn’t re-up on our plan and feel like Pet’s Best made out with our $ after paying close to $400 for a premium. Will avoid forever.
