Pet Insurance FTW
My little guy had a scary bug. When we took him to the urgent vet (who knew that was a thing?) we panicked over the bill but knew it had to be done. My hubby paid it without a single complaint. I told him I'd submit it to Bo's insurance. He didn't even know pet insurance was a thing. He was so surprised when the claim was approved and we got back almost all of what we had to pay! He'll tell anybody me who will listen how valuable pet insurance is now. It was my first claim submission and the process couldn't have been easier. 10/10 recommend.

"This is my first time using pet insurance, and I'm glad I chose pets Best. Filing the claim was easy, and I got what I consider a generous reimbursement on wellness and annual exam. These are things I would do anyway for my pet, so I'm really pleased. I feel like I am protected, but I still have options. For many years I was tied to a wellness plan at a big pet brand and the benefits got less and less- plus they were rude and acted like we owed them something. Now I can go where I want with my pet, get treated with respect and still feel covered if something bad happens and she needs a lot of care. I carry the wellness plan too, so for us it's a win win. Thanks pet best!!!"
Nationwide is the worst
After years of loyalty, Nationwide dropped is and 100000 other pets. It simply wasn't profitable enough and any option to go to a less comprehensive plan requires new underwriting effectively making any pet with pre existing uninsurable even if the nationwide policy was in effect for many years. Nationwide is truly an awful company with no morals
Used To Be Great, Now Not So Much
Used to be very on top and quick with reimbursement process but it has gone downhill the past couple of years. At one point there app was just not working and they knew which made it more frustrating and annoying to submit claims because it was hard to do from my phone. They also significantly increased the price this year. Now I am stuck with Pets Best because if I change, everything will be a pre-existing condition. I would have recommended them a few years ago but now, I would not recommend unless you don’t mind waiting almost 10 days to get reimbursed.
