Outstanding service in every way
I was impressed beyond words by the kindness and helpfulness of the customer service when my dog sustained a traumatic spinal injury a few weeks ago They got all the medical records from 2 different emergency hospitals that were needed to file the claims and did everything they could to help me in a very scary situation My dog is progressing steadily and I am forever grateful to the Healthy Paws company

Frustration with claims
For every claim I have ever submitted there is an issue with getting a diagnosis which delays the results of the claim. I always feel caught in between the doctor and the insurance company. Each claim is reviewed by a different person which impacts the results particularly if several claims are related to one issue/illness.

ASCPA delivered 100%
a couple of years after purchasing insurance from ASCPA, Sam was diagnosed the cancer. ASCPA paid every claim up to the limits of the policy and filing was as easy as scanning invoice and attaching it to short online claim form. They renewed during treatments with no repercussions. So glad I purchased the insurance.

If I could rate this company zero…
If I could rate this company zero stars, I would. They dropped us from our home insurance policy (due to changes in their underwriting policy, which now requires better credit than we have). We've been customers for I want to say 8 years, they won't provide a written reason as to why they dropped us from our policy so we are unable to get home insurance through any other insurance company so far, and we've been looking for someone to take us for weeks. The other insurance company's all need a reason. We now had to escalate the issue that the ombudsman to try and fix this. If you want a company who will drop you for literally no reason, when you've never missed a payment and never made a claim, and on top of it they know they're preventing you from securing new home insurance, sonnet is the company for you. As soon as we can we are moving our auto insurance to a new company because this one absolute is trash. Reply to Sonnet: We have already contacted your customer service and apparently the reason for dropping us is proprietary information (husband managed to get some more info out of them and what was proprietary was that they changed the credit rating required to have insurance through them. We've been paying monthly for years with no issue). You won't provide us with a written reason why other than it's proprietary information and that's stopping us from getting insurance. I don't understand what's so hard about providing a letter so we can get insurance through someone else but apparently it is.

Increased premium astronomically for…
Increased premium astronomically for existing policies, but offered a new policy with the same exact coverages for cheaper. Existing conditions would not be covered under the new policy though. Such a scam. Terrible customer service.

Claiming me not having records from 2021 when I was with them since 2017.
I have been with ASPCA since 2017 and was generally fine with them even though they tried to increase their price once in a while. However, just for this month, one of my cats got dental issue and had teeth extracted. I submitted a claim about it and ASPCA asked me for his medical records from 3/6/2021 to present. My vet had sent them records from April 2021 to present since that was when I started using this vet and I just did not go to any vet in March 2021. ASPCA still have the “action needed” warning on. When I called them, they said the just still need some record from that one missing month, which just literally nothing happened at that time since my cat was healthy and it was during COVID. And the reason they gave me was they need to make sure that my cat didn’t have dental issues before I started the plan with them, which as I mentioned at the very beginning, I have been with ASPCA since 2017! No matter what comes out during 2021, it should still be AFTER I got their plan! I’ll see what happens after today and if they don’t reimburse due to this dumb “you couldn’t show your cat had no dental issue before using our plan” reason, I will come update this post into a shorter version with one star and ask people to run from them.
