ongoing claim dispute
My dog tore her ACL on 10/31/23. She had her surgery on 11/8 and I immediately filed a claimed. It got denied due to lack of medical records. I’ve put in invoices for the year and even when we adopted her last year. The vet has told them they don’t have anything else they can give them. It is now 12/7 and they have yet to reopen the case and have yet to reimburse me. I’ve gotten told that I will have to wait longer to appeal it if they don’t reopen it. No where in the contract does it say they will only reimburse you if the vet gives them what they want. I shouldn’t be punished for something that isn’t my job.

I Could Not be More Pleased
I had never had pet insurance before, and the ease of navigating the process with Metlife Pet ... was so smooth. Submitting the documents , awaiting the processing and receiving the payment. Metlife Pet Agents are very helpful and professional when you reach out or chat... so if I could give them 10 stars I would.... Insurance for pets nowadays, is not a luxury, it is truly necessary.... and I feel much more comfortable, having Metlife Pet in my corner for that unexpected emergency.

I am happy to give Pets Best a 5 star…
I am happy to give Pets Best a 5 star rating. I started my policy in September and in October my puppy started showing signs of puppy strangles. It was weeks of tests and waiting for results. My puppy was in pain and what I feel near death. We went to his regular veterinary and to an emergency veterinary and had thousands of dollars in medical costs for him. Pets Best paid out fully per my coverage plan. The claims submittal process was quick and easy. Their processing time was about 3 weeks to receive, 1 week to request medical documentation, 1 week to review and 1 week to pay. It didn’t happen fast but it was easy. Luckily my little guy is doing much better. We are still having follow-up appointments and pets best is still working hard to get me reimbursed. So happy I got Pets Best!
