Did not have a good experience with Fetch
Been with Fetch for a couple of years. My pups are 4 and 2.5. Price for the 4 year has risen to $1500 a year, healthy dog no issues. My car insurance is cheaper. Every time I submit a claim they find something wrong. Last time I deducted her flea meds from the amount we claimed cause we knew they were not covered, so they deducted them again and did not respond to my request for explanation. They demanded 2 years of past medical records for my 6 month old puppy?? Again this year, asking for medical records for my 4 year old, again! Almost $2200 a year for two dogs, rather put the money away and pay my own costs, I end up paying for it anyway. Sad thing is, Iām an insurance broker!

Be ready for anything with a puppy
We got a puppy March 2023. I enrolled him in FIGO insurance right away for illness/accident coverage. In June he suffered a severe break to his hind leg. At the emergency vets we were given an estimate of $7,000 to $8,000 to repair. Never expected this expense but thank goodness we had insurance. I had no idea how much would be covered but of course we said to proceed with the surgery. I was very impressed with how easy and quickly I could submit a claim and receive reimbursement for covered expenses. Customer service was excellent when I had questions. I was always kept informed of the status of the claim which made it a seamless process. So thankful our only worry was getting Louie healed and not the cost. He fully recovered! Thanks to all at FIGO.

It has always been great
It has always been great! Turnaround time within a few days. But now I am noticing a much longer time frame on the higher $ claims. I have a monthly prescription of Galliprant for instance. By the time I get reimbursed it is time to order again. It is taking 2 or 3 weeks.

hard to reach by phone
So far, I've been with Sonnet for about 3 years and had no issues. ( no claims yet ). Very unfortunately, if you try to reach them by phone - it is almost impossible. If you have a phone number, then most likely you will need to get through an endless menu and after that, you're in line for a looooong time. It is very hard to get a human on the phone if you have questions.

This is the first time Iāve carried petā¦
This is the first time Iāve carried pet insurance. Our new puppy had to see the veterinarian. I paid for the visit, submitted the receipt and within a couple of days the money was in my account. It was incredible easy!!

I have been informed that if my dog
I have been informed that if my dog, Willow, has cancer, her treatment will not be covered. Your reasoning is based on the fact that when the doctor looked at her "lumps", he determined they were only sebaceus cysts and no biopsy was required. I would think your company would defer to a doctor's expertise in determining when a biopsy is not warranted. In fact, one cyst was removed recently and it was just a cyst; no cancer. And Embrace would not pay for it. I will not subject my dogs to unnecessary medical procedures, especially when the doctor knows they are not warranted. I would think that would be your position, as well.
