My dog broke his leg and required surgery. Submitting invoices was easy and they were paid very quickly. I valued the text messages with the claim status updates. It was very clear as to what my policy covered. At a very stressful time, this was something that went very smoothly.

Excellent follow up and quick payment for my dog’s surgery. The university veterinary center trusts this company because they provided direct billing and they told me Trupanian is one of the only pet insurers for which they do this.

Highly recommend! From the beginning to now I have had nothing but exceptional service! I have actually had to use my insurance a few times and they send you the refund check quickly as long as you provide them with vet notes and invoices- happy I signed up my girl!

Don’t recommend
I like they have unlimited options but so far haven’t had a good experience with this company. Response times take forever on claims and then it seems like no one is actually working there or listening. I emailed in 3 times explaining my dog didn’t have 12 months of records they were asking for as he was just adopted from the shelter and all emails went ignored and then they just closed out the claims. I had to resubmit everything and then this time around it went through. I used a another company with my previous dog and would have used them again as the process was fast and simple and they seemed to really care but they didn’t offer unlimited to I tried pets best after researching but I wouldn’t recommend them.
