Easy to file claims. Swift, clear response -- fair and intelligible, given terms of the policy. (I don't feel Spot is looking for reasons NOT to reimburse -- they're simply reimbursing what they said they would, at the rate specified.) Also easy to reach representatives by phone. I'm only giving four stars because the browser on my phone wouldn't work right when submitting claims. I did end up getting it submitted and I was very happy with the reimbursement process.

I recommend Spot Pet Insurance. i’ve filed several claims in the past three years and all have been handled expeditiously. Recently, our beloved cat Oak l developed acute kidney problems and required 24/7 emergency care and monitoring prior to renal failure and passionate euthanasia. Spot Pet Insurance managed our claim with grace and dignity.

Some Good Some not so good
I am so glad I can use the preventative care benefits for my pets. But the time to process a claim is taking so long it is making it hard to keep up with the vet bills because I am not receiving the reimbursement in a timely manner because the claims are taking so long. The way I can view why a claim is denied or approved is not at all helpful. All I can see is approved or denied nothing more it would help if I could see why not just that it is. I would love the option to raise my coverage level for my pets when it comes time for the annual renewal. I can decrease coverage but not increase it. Which I was unaware of when I first signed up for the policies.
