Awful
ASPCA will try and claim everything is a pre existing condition and deny all future claims. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

3 Stars is generous
I am going to give a 3 star because I was disappointed that I was denied my larger claims. My puppy had FHO surgery because it was hurt. Insurance denies it calling it pre-existing dysplasia. I got the insurance as soon as I got the puppy from the breeder and all paperwork was clear. I kept the insurance for one more year to see if it is even worth the payment. Time will tell.

So quick and easy
This is the first time I got pet insurance for one of my animals. I did my research and settled on Healthy Paws. I am glad I had this in place. My dog got sick on a weekend and we had to go into an emergency vet. She ended up having to stay for 24 hours. The cost was very high and without insurance I am not sure what I would have done. I was able to submit everything and with in 4 days of her visit I received a reimbursement. It was so easy to send in a claim and it is nice to have that peace of mind that I can do everything possible for my pet and not let a financial burden determine a decision like that. I highly recommend Healthy Paws.

Don’t be fooled. Company generates its own reviews.
Don’t be fooled. This company generates fake reviews to increase its rating on Trust Pilot. Most of the reviewers are single reviews and are highly generic sounding. I am a customer about leave Healthy Paws. After you make a certain amount of claims or your dog ages, they increase the premium. Over a few years, my dog’s premium increase five fold, until it became impractical and unaffordable. Please do your research and find a pet insurance suitable for your situation after reading the actual coverage rather than selecting an insurance based on “reviews” like I did.

Best Pet Insurance - HANDS DOWN
I have 2 pets insured through MetLife for @ 2 years now and I have never regretted it. Reasonable prices, fast claim processing, and quick repayment to my bank account. So glad my daughter told me about MetLife.

Misleading
I recently switched to Metlife pet insurance because all over their website they claim to process claims quickly. Everything was great to start, i was quickly reimbursed for my first claim and everything was going well. But it was clearly too good to be true because that’s when things hit the fan, my puppy was recently diagnosed with bronchitis, all the vet expenses ended up costing $1000+ but i wasn’t worried about it because I thought i had great pet insurance that I thought would reimburse us quickly. I was wrong, to start i’ve been waiting 3 weeks for my claim to be processed, when i had reached out to figure out what’s the hold up, they stated they need notes from doctor, usually they just contact the vet themselves which had not at all been done and no one communicated to me at all while waiting, that that was the reason for the hold up. So i got the notes myself and submitted them on my own, the first rep that i spoke with stated that once the notes were submitted that the processing would be expedited, that was a lie because the rep I spoke with after that said they do not expedite that process and she had no clue what the processing time would be. Again at this point i’ve been waiting 3 weeks despite them advertising 5 day and on the site it says 5-10 days. It’s been way longer than that and i feel like my times being wasted and im very frustrated with the lying and misleading nature from customer support. I feel like you can’t really fulfill your claims of being quick with processing claims, maybe don’t advertise that you are and lie to perspective customers.
