HealthyPaws saved the day!

Our corgi had to have emergency surgery only three short months after we adopted her. The initial estimate was $10,000; the final bill was $7,888. Thankfully, I had signed her up with HealthyPaws as soon as we got her. It was fast and simple to file the claim (send them the invoice and the medical records). HealthyPaws paid immediately after providing the required information. They even sent a follow-up email asking how she was doing. Without HealthyPaws we would have been facing a choice no parent should have to make. With the exorbitant cost of veterinary bills, you really must have insurance if only for peace of mind, and hopefully you will never have to use it. We highly recommend HealthyPaws enough!

Best Pet insurance

Embrace handles my claims with a fast turnaround. I haven’t had any issues with this company. The app makes everything easy to upload and also view your status and benefits. They have saved me so much money especially since the puppy stage is the most expensive. I just want to say thank you

Bogus cancellation charges!!

I cancelled my home insurance policy with them as I got a better price elsewhere. The cancellation went through as expected, but suddenly I get an email today telling me I have an outstanding balance of $509.60 which they will be withdrawing from my account. I have exactly one payment of $199 remaining with them and that's it. Watch your account closely folks... I've been reading on other forums how they tend to withdraw more than what's owed.

Normal lab becomes reason for exclusion

They determined my cat had hyperthyroidism as a preexisting condition even though her lab value at start of coverage was, according to the vet, "well within the normal reference range," and my cat had no signs of hyperthyroidism. And due to the hyperthyroidism exclusion, they would also cover absolutely no health issues related to blood pressure, heart, or kidneys. So really very little point in paying them to cover next to nothing. And who knows what normal lab value they may decide was actually a sign of a preexisting condition once a diagnosis occurs.

Way too expensive!!!! No necessary items covered!!!

Answer to your “copy & paste response you send out to everyone: Let’s stick to the truth!! No, your prices are nit the best you can do. best. You know the prices are ridiculous. No your redeemable expenses are a fraction of what they should be. Stating you use each states “standards” for redeeming cost is an insult to every pet owner & their pet. You’re a business & you’re in this line to make as much money as you can. Way too expensive. This plan doesn’t even cover basics like vet office exam fees or neutering. Deductible is also ridiculous. Even if there was a pet surgery, this plan isn’t worth it since it only covers a low % of what they deem acceptable costs. REALLY?!? AGAIN. RIDICULOUS! I’d rather just set aside $50 a month in a savings account & then pay for my pets visits.

Just filed first claim

I've had Embrace for a few years now, and I filed my first claim last week. The process was super easy. I uploaded the bill, and I had the money in my bank within 24 hours.
