First claim
Fetch made submitting my puppy's claim easy on their website. They informed me of the status of my claims. And as the final result, I was very pleased with the payment.

Claims process was easy and efficient
Claims process was easy and efficient. Instructions clear on what documents to upload so I had gathered what I needed ahead of time. Payout was exactly as I had calculated. Money in my account within the two weeks that they state for claims resolution. I would definitely recommend Fetch. So glad I had the coverage when my dog needed a $4200 surgery. Best thing Pepper has recovered and she is doing well!

Once again Fetch Pet has made my decision to obtain healthcare for my pet a "no brainer". Despite the astronomic fees charged by my vet, having insurance through Fetch Pet made a treatment plan for my baby so easy. Thank you, Fetch Pet!

I just cancelled my account with Sonnet…
I just cancelled my account with Sonnet after 3 years with them. I have a perfect driving record/never made a claim. Each year they have, without reason or notice, raised my insurance premium. When I talk to costumer service they can’t even give me a reason why this happens and they also offered NO solution for me to keep me as a customer. They rolled out a new program called Sonnet Shift. Which is basically a tracking device they “could” save you money yearly. I did the math and even with Sonnet Shift I would still be overpaying around $50 a month compared to other insurance companies. Absolutely bonkers company. A quick google search about Sonnet will reveal many people had this exact same issue. Avoid at all costs unless you like unexplained and arbitrary annual price increases. :)

The initial turn around time for claims…
The initial turn around time for claims was longer but I never had it take more than 30 days to get an explanation of benefit. Towards the end of me filling claims after everything had gotten established, I had an explanation of benefit within a few days -- in one case it was even processed within a few hours of me submitting it. I was very happy with the coverage and whenever something wasn't covered, they included the policy section to refer to which I found very helpful. Having pets best allowed me to fight a little extra longer for my furry friend since I didn't need to worry about paying the full cost of his various vet visits, hospitalizations, and visits to a specialist. The only thing I wish is that the direct deposits would process quicker. There would usually be about a week between my payment reimbursement dates on the explanation of benefit and when the money was actually deposited into my account.

Healthy Paws saved my dogs life and my peace of mind.
Healthy Paws has saved my fur babies multiple times. As recent as this past month. My dog was throwing up constantly. After the 7th time we brought her to the ER. To keep a long story short, they found a mass on her liver and in her spleen. The concern was of course cancer since her liver levels were off. She had emergency surgery for a spleen removal and the mas on her liver removed. Turns out, the mass on the liver was a slow growing cancer. It was fully removed and she is healed and healthy now thankfully! Having healthy paws made every decision SO easy, as we did not have to worry about the costs. I knew the policy covers emergency's and the "unexpected" which this definitely was. No one can plan financially for something like this. What healthy paws allowed us to do, is say yes to all options for helping our dog, Pepper, without having to stress about the money. We put the money on our credit card and submitted our claims once we got the final invoices from the vet. The uploading was easy and simple. Took me less than 4 minutes to upload and submit everything on the Healthy Paws Website. Total, Pepper's bill was $10,500 (give or take). Healthy Paws refunded just over $9k, and we ended up paying less than $2k for surgery, meds, overnight stay, and sending the masses out to be tested. It literally saved her life and our wallet. I know having pet insurance is a privilege. I will be open and say we have 4 animals on our plan and pay just over $200 a month for all 4. If you can afford Healthy Paws, please invest! for your fur babies sake and peace of mind for you. I have so many more life saving stories where Healthy Paws allowed me to have peace of mind. I'm so thankful for their insurance. Truthfully, I wish this is house human insurance worked.

Documentation not reasonable
When your website is working I like how easy it is to enter a claim.Fixing a problem that was partially created by my vets billing system and therefore misunderstood by the claims person has been extremely difficult and time consuming on both ends. I had a conversation with a very nice rep and how to fix it. It still took multiple finding of receipts for heartworm meds (not covered in my policy so did not keep them) including for winter months where one does not have to give the meds here in Maine (too cold for ticks and mosquitoes). A script from my vet I had hoped would have fixed this but no.
