Claim denied for ridiculous administrative reason

My dog had to have a portion of her tail amputated. it took some time to get a proper diagnosis and for the tail to heal properly (as in months). The accident occurred two days before the policy renewal. I submitted a claim once the dog was deemed fit and healed and it was denied because it was not within the 60 day post renewal period, even though this was an ongoing and very traumatic injury -- think blood splattered all over the house.

They reel you in and then jack up your rates

They will reel you in with seemingly great rates but the reality is they will raise your premium OFTEN and without explanation or notice. I had a $35 a month increase for literally no reason and, when I asked why, they couldn’t give me a reason and tried to get me to sign up for a new feature called Shift that isn’t any cheaper (and with less benefits). I never write reviews but am actually so shocked at how this company operates I couldn’t let it slide! People are struggling financially these days and I know all corporations never have our best interest and are run by greed but the way Sonnet operates is particularly gross because they market to a younger generation or people that may be looking for cheaper options. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves (that includes the person or bot responding to every single review here)

Same as all the others don't waste your money

My 1 year old dog has some genetic joint problems and my first claim is denied as pre existing. I will be dropping this coverage it's a total waste of money that I can be putting toward the vet bills his insurance rejects. Update - thanks for your reply ASPCA... wish I'd thought of that. Oh, I did. Twice. Coverage cancelled.
