Horrible experience
Horrible experience. Lost a lot of money that I can't afford due to their ridiculous pre-existing conditions policy. For example, I had a check-up scheduled for after the waiting period. During the check-up, I mentioned a couple of things off the top of my head such as i noticed increased thirst and guessed "a couple days ago" which was documented as a day before coverage went into effect. So, after waiting over 5 months, they come back and determine NOTHING in the check up was covered due to that. and EVERYTHING remotely related to everything at that visit was to be considered 'pre-existing'. Also, he had a slight yeast ear infection the month prior to coverage. He got a bacterial hot spot while at the beach 6 months later on his ruff area and this was considered pre-existing bc ear and his neck are both skin and no skin-related issues are to be covered bc of ear infection

Awesome Customer Service!!
My cat is quite old and has kidney disease. She visits the doctor a couple times a week for fluids and takes several medications. She's doing really well, which helps, but what helps even more is that Embrace is reviewing and approving my invoices the SAME day I submit them, and the reimbursed funds are usually in my account the very next day. To me, this is INCREDIBLE customer service. I've been using Embrace for 20 years, and I've never had a problem.

Embrace for life
We have had Embrace for the life of our 15 year old cat and every claim we submit, gets paid promptly. Last quarterly blood test, checking on his thyroid and kidney disease, was submitted in the morning and approved by the afternoon; same day!! Not kidding!! If you believe in insurance for your pets, this pet owner highly recommends Embrace, 1000%!!

A true scam
Updated Review: **Review Update with Response to Trupanion: We reached out to Trupanion, provided our membership numbers, and were informed that no further assistance could be offered. Unlike my home/auto insurance, which remains stable, this policy has shown unexpected rate increases** Original review: We had TWO insurance premiums for two dogs with Trupanion for three-five years, during which premiums have consistently increased by over $44 each year. Unfortunately, the reimbursement for claims has not met expectations. Second account we never utilize the insurance and premiums continued to rise in price each year by the same amount.

We have been very pleased with Embrace. We’ve had quick responses and reimbursement. Vet charges have sky rocketing as vet practices have adjusted to their higher costs. Pet insurance is needed and this one does the job.

Met life has been great so far.
We have had Met Life for 8 months now for our dog. She just turned a year old, everything that she has needed(shots, heartworm and vet visits) has been taken care of ( after deductible) by Met Life. We have had no problems and they are promt ,professional and fast. Thanks

Healthy Paws is Great Pet Insurance
Unfortunately my fur baby was diagnosed with lymphoma at only 4 1/2 years old. Healthy Paws insurance made it possible for me to give her the best chemotherapy program that will hopefully give us many more years. Don’t wait— get insurance for your puppy, and get Healthy Paws. Their claims are easy to submit, the coverage is great (70 percent!), and the payments are literally deposited directly in my checking account within a week. AND, they send emails of support. Amazing. I am a HUGE fan of Healthy Paws 🐾💜

So far it’s been okay
So far it’s been okay. Our first couple of claims kept getting denied for false preexisting conditions but after we appealed and had our vets explain that Embrace was wrong in denying it. Embrace finally accepted the claim and gave us a refund. Seems to be great but you have to make sure your notes from the vet are perfect and make sure Embrace doesn’t just deny your claim for a dumb reason.
