Baseless Claim Denial
Very disappointed with Embrace's effort to deny my dog Murphy's claim for renal disease testing. During a routine check up, my vet noticed abnormal kidney values and recommended testing. Embrace denied the claim as a pre-existing condition because Murphy had experienced diarrhea before I purchased my policy and diarrhea is a symptom of late-stage kidney disease. My vet said the denial was ridiculous. The appeal is under review, but it seems Embrace is just like every other insurance company -- they happily collect your premiums and then do their utmost to deny claims on the flimsiest of grounds.

Wonderful customer service
This was all new to me and the representatives I spoke with were great and clarified all questions that I had. Claims started reviewing my dog’s case immediately and cc’d me every step of the way. Last month I changed the plan on my dog and decided now that I want to keep the good coverage I had. The change would have taken place next month. The representative switched it back for me without a problem. Great customer service!!!

super fast claim process
super easy to file a claim on either the app or website.... I've been with Pet's Best for a few years & been fairly happy....lately, like in the last 9-12 months it seems claims are completed much quicker...few weeks at longest, most in a few days.

Friendly people, quick claims and reimbursements
Now that we can submit receipts ourselves, the process goes much smoother and reimbursements are made quickly. The people are very kind and I love the space dog. I am not convinced that they are always experiencing high call volumes like their website says, especially not late at night when I'm filing claims.
