Lovely phone humans, such as Aileen!

Aileen was an absolute delight on the phone. I have had to call fetch three times now and everyone has been super helpful. So far, I have only signed up 3 cats on the insurance and haven't used them for reimbursement, but I feel confident they will deliver. Especially after through research on which pet insurance to go with. Than you Aileen for being so wonderful on the phone despite needing to do tedious work due to my mistake!

The agent (Joshua Sabado) I spoke with…

The agent (Joshua Sabado) I spoke with was very knowledgeable. He even saved me $4 dollars a month on my quote, he was very helpful and answered all of my questions. I think this was the best company to go with after doing my research.

If you’re thinking about choosing Embrace for your pet insurance, I would strongly recommend looking at other options first. I paid a high monthly premium expecting support when my dog needed medical care the most. When my dog was diagnosed with pneumonia, Embrace classified it as a pre-existing condition and denied my claim. After months of paying for insurance, I received no reimbursement for my dog’s treatment. What makes this even more disappointing is that my dog has now passed away, and instead of receiving the support I expected during such a difficult time, I’ve been dealing with the added stress of denied claims and ongoing reimbursement issues while grieving the loss of my beloved pet. Pet insurance is supposed to provide peace of mind during emergencies, but my experience has been the opposite. Paying high premiums only to have claims denied when they matter most has been incredibly frustrating and heartbreaking. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Embrace.

Quick turn around for reimbursement

Quick turn around for reimbursement. EoB clearly explains what is and isn’t covered based on your chosen policy. Rates increase every year, sometimes with increased deductibles. I wish there was a price lock.

Waiting period and "pre-existing condition" nonsense

Had a terrible experience regarding my very first claim for my 9 year old female lab. She started limping-caused by either a dog park injury or onset of arthritis. Prudent Pet denied the claim, saying it was still the waiting period (it wasn't- waiting period ended 2 days before the injury/illness). When I appealed, it changed its rationale for the rejection-now said it was a "pre-existing" condition because my vet had recommended starting joint supplements as a preventative one month before I bought the insurance. Also ridiculously claimed that the vet visit for the limping was within the waiting period. I politely challenged them to show me where the vet summary said my dog had had a arthritis diagnosis- PP couldn't. I subsequently read other reviews that said PP often rejects claims on older dogs. Lesson learned. Will now pursue other options, ie Chewy insurance.
