Customer since 2016 with ZERO claims

Customer since 2016 with ZERO claims. Worse flooding in Souther Quebec on august 9, 2024. Summit first claim can't find it. Submit it again and still waiting for an adjuster to be assigned to my claim 4 days later. No one knows anything every time you call. They can't give you information on where to stay because your house is unlivable.

Absolute terrible so far

Absolute terrible so far. Bad communication on their part I have to do their job for them and to top it off denied the claim over some bs. Definitely taking legal action! unacceptable! I will cancel my policy as soon as I let the adjuster know what’s on my mind. Definitely go with another insurance provider. I had to take my pup to emergency. He got diagnosed with terminal heart issue 3-9 months and he be gone. Charges $3000 of vet bills. And empower said he had the condition prior I took him because he didn’t eat his food two days before that’s how they denied the claim. Because two days before the two week waiting period wasn’t up yet. Just some bs excuse not to pay premium. Plus on-top of that I had to get all the records because they couldn’t. I did it in. 30 min. It took them 30 days to tell me they couldn’t get them. And I had to call them because empower never called me to let me know they wasn’t able to get them. This company is absolutely ridiculous. When I need them to be there they denied the claim. After getting such terrible news they did that to me. So hell with empower. So if someone reads this review look for elsewhere to insure your pet. This company is a total joke.

A Total Scam

Would give zero stars if able. This is just a money grab, really closer to a scam. Our dog started getting sick so we signed up for the insurance. After a prolonged waiting period, we started working up the problem. Over multiple visits we finally clinched a diagnosis, only for embrace to come back and say everything was "pre-existing". This insurance in particular and pet insurance generally is a scam. Don't sign up with these guys.
