Terrible website
I have been trying to add a second pet to my policy. Damned near impossible with your user unfriendly site. I seem now to have 2 policies - one for Frank and one for Phoebe. I would prefer wellness cover only for both and would appreciate non-robotic contact. I have emailed several times and got no response.

BAIT & SWITCH!
BAIT & SWITCH! I’ve been paying them $52 per month for 3 years straight without fail for my 3 yr old pup. Have only made 1 simple claim re an annual check-up and all was fine. Suddenly this year- I am getting the run around after submitting a simple annual check-up claim. Support has told me “We are sorry it’s taking so long- we have a huge uptick in new clients” SERIOUSLY?!? So you will not hire new staff to handle all your wonderful new business-yet will continue to pocket my $650 per year? Unbelievably bad business. Searching for a better company immediately. Just thought I’d let y’all have a head’s up before you make the same error I did.

Sonnet takes your money like chicken little
Sonnet has been happy to take my thousands of dollars every year for my home with earthquake insurance. Now however they must have decided that I'm about to be wiped off the map by an earthquake and they don't want to have to pay out on that! So they're no longer willing to play the future gazing game that is earthquakes, they'll probably start to impose a "climate change" premium and view to everything too. So happy i financed them for so many years, with no claim history. I wonder what it would have been like to try and make a claim with them, any claim. No trust, no integrity.

A good friend told me about Sonnet
A good friend told me about Sonnet. It came ahead among the three insurers I had initially contacted for quotes, because they offered substantially more details. I called again to inquire about new contingencies and a thorough discussion answered my unusual situation. The price quoted was competitive so I concluded it would be smart to go with the best customer service. He helped me complete the online application, again explaining the fields related to my specific circumstances. It could not have been any better. Hats off to an outstanding agent.

BUYER BEWARE - Read fine print in policy!!
Be careful of what this company means by pre-existing conditions. Example: if your animal is born with a genetic condition that can be seen or observed before you purchase this policy BUT can not be treated until the animal is larger for corrective treatment to be effective (e.q. eye problem) - It Will Be Considered a Pre-Existing condition even if it is genetic and will NOT be covered Because, you can see it before you purchased the policy. And the wait periods are much longer then stated on their website - e.q. if your dog has had parasites in the last year ,via their extenstion review by claims adjusters, you can have up to a 12 month exclusion for parasites as pre-existing clause terms.
