Unfair denial of last claim
Our last claim for NoName for over $1600 was rejected by this company for no good reason. Allegedly there was no track record for his recent illness and treatment, but we have always cared for him properly (he was a stray nearly 5 years ago, blind and neglected) taking him to several vets. We had to take him to several owing to the pandemic, and a large portion of his last visit should have been reimburse-able. We are long time clients with multiple animals and feel very much let down. We have made 2 appeals with no satisfaction.

As a physician I do not recommend…
As a physician I do not recommend Trupanion! I have a dog born with a birth defect that is congenital with the breed. Adopted the dog and got insurance within a month. Took him for an evaluation, although he was having no issues the surgeon said better to repair now than later. Had the procedure and Trupanion will not cover calling it a pre existing condition! No sh*t he was born with it. The explanation given was that in his very first vet visit they notated he had a cleft. Very first visit for shots and he makes a note of what we already know in the chart and they refuse coverage.

Get rid off headaches. Get Spot!
