Honestly
Honestly, a headache that didn't need to occur. I have had embrace for probably 10 years. I have 3 dogs on my plan. My dog accidentally got a laceration that needed stitches. I put the claim in and got a response that they needed my dogs medical history for 12 months prior to signing up with embrace. So ridiculous as this has nothing to do with his health. They also should already have all this info anyhow. I was told this was policy. They should Honestly refund all the money I paid into this policy for 10+years. Shame on Embrace. Would definitely not recommend at this point. Another stupid way to inconvenience people!!

Quick and Efficient
They are really quick and efficient! I submitted in all my documents and in less than 2 weeks I got my reimbursement. They also covered teeth extractions which is nice because a lot of other insurances max at $1000, but they were able to cover almost everything. Thank you

The math isn’t mathing…
My teacup yorkie was surrendered to me in May with a pre-existing condition (broken bone) which already knew they can’t do anything about. Got this insurance in July specifically for wellness checks, shots, and dental cleanings. The extras I pay monthly are a plus.Took my teacup yorkie in Sept for a dental cleaning only. Went ahead and had his vet do a fecal test, got his Trio (flea, tick, and heartworm chew) along with some other things I knew that “were covered” with his plan that I chose with add-ons. Almost $900 paid up front. My plan’s Deductible is $100 and 90% reimbursement. Submitted the claim. In the EOB they put in there under “accident and illness” they tried to contact the vet to get info on him from sept 2023 to now. I didn’t have that info but he wasn’t sick nor was he there for an accident. I called the previous owners got the info and added that info to my claim…. I got way less than 90% of the almost $900 paid up front. Somebody make it make sense.

I can’t say enough good things…
I can’t say enough good things about Embrace. Without your help, we could never have afforded the extensive treatments and medications for our dear sweet kitty over this past year. Each and every person I have spoken to at Embrace has been professional, kind, and compassionate. I sing your praises to all the pet parents I know. Thank you and God bless you.

I insured two dogs with Healthy Paws
UPDATE: I submitted an appeal with a letter from my veterinarian. I also submitted the vet notes with relevant information highlighted. I just received an email approving my claim. Based on this, I am changing my review. Although I had to submit an appeal, the process was easy, which I appreciate. I'm going to assume the staff who denied my claim, just didn't read the vet notes carefully. NOTE TO COMPANY: I appreciate that the company reached out in response to this review. Somehow I did not see the email in my inbox. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I insured two dogs with Healthy Paws. I submitted a claim for a bicep injury on the left leg of one dog. They denied my claim because they said he was limping on the left leg during a vet visit before I enrolled him. However, he was not limping during that visit. In fact, the vet said in her notes that there was no limping, no pain, and no gait abnormalities. The claim reviewer latched on to my statement that I had noticed him "weight shifting" while sitting. The vet said in her notes that that was due to a training issue or possible issue with core strength. As I mentioned, I understand preexisting conditions. But whoever reviewed my report either didn't read the notes or thinks that "weight shifting while sitting means 'limping'". Despite the vet saying he was not limping.

Great experience
I’ve had Embrace for my two Italian Greyhounds for two years. I have had a great experience. They approve pretty quickly and it only takes a couple of days to get the money back into my account. Overall, wonderful experience

Seriously Great Insurance
I’ve been using Pumpkin since 2021. It’s not often you can say this but every customer service experience has been superb. Everyone is consistently knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Some pet insurance has small print that’s difficult to understand and you’re not sure what you’re getting but Pumpkin is clear and the coverage is excellent. Anyone looking to insure their babies should protect them with Pumpkin!

I have another dog with different…
I have another dog with different insurance and getting onboarded and getting claims paid are easy and fast. We had a claim in July and it is just getting paid in October. So much work for our vet and myself. Thought USAA affiliate would be better it has not been easy. Price is okay.
