Kept in touch all through claim

Kept in touch all through claim. Asked only for what was needed. Gave us time to find what they needed for claim. Satisfied with what they paid. I liked how up front and honest they were with the whole procedure..

I changed from another insurance company to Embrace in May of 2024. It has been very stressful and difficult talking to staff and the claims dept. It has been horrible with customer service and claims dept. They will deny your claims so be prepared. You will have to appeal it. It took over 4 weeks to get my claim overturned. It should have never been denied in the first place. That is because I had to argue with the claims dept for over 4 weeks for my claim to be approved. They didnt' take any accountablity or offer an apology for their mistakes. I find claims dept to be shady in regard to claims. I would not recommend. I highly recommend you look at their BBB and google reviews.

An absolute racket with no accountability

Consistently drag their feet with the larger claims and have zero accountability. If you call and wait the lengthy hold times to speak to one of their clowns, which is the only way to contact them, they simply spew scripted responses and do not actually give any answers or provide any customer service. If they do go off-script, the answers vary from one clown to the next. Supervisors and managers are not available and are probably equally useless. Awful.

Honestly a terrible experience

Honestly a terrible experience. Took more than 6 weeks to get any kind of response, very unclear direction on what is required to process the claim, impossible to get anyone on the phone (although once I got someone they were helpful), and I was reimbursed a fraction of thousands of dollars of ER and hospital bills with things used as an explanation like (hospital boarding is not covered) even though the hospital boarding was a direct result of the illness. I plan to cancel coverage and seek another provider is this is not remedied.

Double Cervical Spinal Surgeries OH MY!

My dog Rune had to be taken to a Vet School 7 hours away to be seen by the boarded Neurologist for symptoms of difficulty using one of his legs and neck pain that came on out of no where. He spent about 11 days in the hospital and had not 1 but 2 cervical spinal surgeries while he was there. His total bill was just over 12 thousand dollars. I was so happy that I had him insured and that we were reimbursed a little over 10 thousand dollars from this very stressful and expensive event. As a licensed Veterinary Technician I always discuss the importance of pet insurance. I am so happy to have an insurance company I trust from first hand experience to recommend to my clients for their pets as well. I am happy to say that Rune is doing amazing post op. His incisions have healed and he is so happy and most importantly he is pain free!

Fetch will work hard, to find a way to deny your claim

Been with them from at least 2019 to 2024, they signed me up for a competitively priced premium but jacked up the rates each yeah until I'm paying 1000$ a year for two domestic shorthair cats with no medical issues. Until now I've filed only 1 claim, for an xray on a swollen limb 4 years ago (~300$ payout), so it seems legitimate until recently I filed for reimbursement on a 1000$ vet bill for a possible bladder infection. Denied it this time; they found some technicality relating to the timing of filing. Been paying them on time for over 5 years, but they're going to weasel out of some loophole when it comes time to pay you back. I've found a new insurer, for less than half the price, with no loopholes, claim windows, and only a 3/14 day wait period on accidents/illness, which I won't mention for impartiality but, Fetch is a grift.
