I sent a claim in and it stated it…
I sent a claim in and it stated it wasn't a covered service date. Yet, my plan became effective in June and the date of service was 07/12/2024. Still not understanding the claim process. I maybe considered ending this plan since my place of employment just started offering pet insurance.

We first purchased Embrace insurance…
We first purchased Embrace insurance for our Golden Retreiver, Walter at 4 mos. He is now 11. Late last year he was diagnosed with lymphoma. He has been in Chemotherapy. Embrace has paid chemo claims on time. Yet, today we received a notice stating our 2024 policy has “maxed out” and that “there was no need to submit claims until April 2025! The policy year begins and ends in April. There is a $1000 Deductible. There is no conceivable way we “maxed” out our policy. I just tried to call Embrace and received this notice: [Do to extreme weather conditions our employees are having difficulty traveling. Therefore our office is very short staffed. Wait times are at least 1 hour] “Extreme weather” it’s July! Where are these people on the dark side of the moon? If you’re planning on purchasing insurance I would double check this outfit. Something is not kosher!

Embrace is not paying for vet visits
I submitted the receipt from our vet visit after my pup was sick three weeks ago. For some reason Embrace wants vet notes from her exam on January 8th. Embrace could not explain why they needed this information. Embrace seems to be doing everything it can not to cover pets and reimburse us.

Very expensive upon renewal
I received my home policy renewal and the premium more than doubled. Very expensive upon renewal. Sonnet said they have to adjust the premium because of inflation and other risk factors. I cancelled my policy on the spot, and will look elsewhere. For information, the annual premium went from $1,200 to $2,700.

ROCKY’S INSURANCE COMPANY
ROCKY’S INSURANCE COMPANY, EMBRACE Our family poodle, Rocky, was diagnosed with renal failure while he was still only a puppy. Still, in spite of the inevitable terminal outlook for this disease, he has managed over the last 4 years to live an active, happy life. Even now with 70% of his kidneys no longer functioning, according to his vets, he shows no outward signs of the disease. He remains our companion on our daily walks, morning and evening, and the unofficial greeter down at the local tennis courts, where everybody knows his name, and he can’t get enough petting and frisbee catching. In all this time, Embrace has been his insurance company. You have covered his hospitalization and medical bills promptly, without attempts at cost cutting, or second guessing his medical care—care that has totaled in the thousands of dollars. Your standing by Rocky this way has enabled him to live out his life to the fullest. You have my highest recommendation.
