Great insurance.
My vet hospital said Embrace was one of the top two insurances they work with...no hassle, etc. When emailing or calling, I rec'd quick responses. In the 12th month of paying insurance, and then getting a notice that my premium will nearly double, I was going to reconsider, except my dog had to be in the hospital for six days. Processing the claim was within a week. I am still awaiting payment (direct deposit) but the amount to be paid is in line with my policy. Very happy except that I do not understand the nearly 100% increase in rates, unless the first year was a low ball to get me to join. Still I will continue as my $7000 bill would have been nearly impossible to pay without this insurance.

Great company and low rates
Great company and low rates, lots of self serve options so if I am able to do something myself I prefer it.

Expedient coverage for my sick pup
Embrace online portal is easy to use to upload medical invoices and records and was very quick reimbursing payments for my pup's medical treatment. Reassuring having insurance when caught off guard by a cancer diagnosis for our therapy pup.

Rosy's Pet Insurance
We are so glad we had Embrace Pet Insurance for our Dear Rosy, who unfortunately passed away November 1st. We could not have gotten the expensive treatment she needed prior to her death w/out this insurance.

This is regarding claim from October 2023. The claim was denied repeatedly due to need for medical records from the vet clinic. The clinic sent records (wrong date as it turns out) but the follow up communication from the insurer was totally inadequate to resolve. Very frustrating.

Take your pet for a health check right after you get them
Right after we signed up we kept getting these emails to send over our pet’s medical records. Several times I spoke to Embrace representatives and explained that we had just gotten a 3 month old puppy and he had his first round of shots at Petco and all the reps said ok no problem. Fast forward to about a month later when our puppy developed a skin condition and we had to go to the vet and then was told that Embrace would not cover this because they’re using this vet visit as a baseline and our puppy’s skin condition is now considered a pre existing condition. Last time I spoke to an Embrace representative I was told we were supposed to have our puppy checked out by a vet within 10 days of getting him. If by send us your dog’s medical records you meant take him to the vet within this amount of time to get a clean bill of health then say so because as a new pet parent it’s not common knowledge. And now we’re stuck dealing with our puppy’s skin condition on our own because Embrace doesn’t want to cover it or take responsibility for not explaining this properly.
