Purchased coverage for the first time for my pet cockatiels. Agent was helpful and explained everything clearly, premiums were reasonable and coverage was explained clearly. The process was very smooth.

Healthy Paws is not the same company…
Healthy Paws is not the same company since being bought out by Chubb! We had Healthy Paws for for 10 years before Chubb came along. The 1st thing Chubb did is raise our rate from $156 per month to $417 in a single year. The next thing they did is double our deductible from $250 to $500 and decrease our reimbursement from 90% to 70%. My dog is to old to start shopping around for new insurance. When you are choosing health insurance for your new family member please know that they will not stick by you for the life of your dog. They are not the company they once were!

When I speak to people on the phone, everyone is kind, helpful, considerate, and just excellent. The website not so much. There's a black box aspect to it that I find intimidating and with a seriously ill cat, I just don't need the anxiety.

So far not good coverage
I was told when I signed up that Roxy’s first appt would be covered. I had just gotten her and was taking her to the vet that day. Guy said it would. It wasn’t. Then when I submitted her second fecal Sample charge since you didn’t cover the first one you also denied it. If I find you continue to not cover the items I was told on my conversation when I signed up I won’t continue coverage
