Beware, Healthy Paws is not what it seems
WARNING: Healthy Paws may look great at first, but once your pets get older, your coverage drops and your premiums skyrocket. We've been paying them since 2016, and now, despite having healthy but aging dogs, they've doubled our rate and reduced our coverage, forcing us to leave. DON'T FALL FOR IT. Look elsewhere and choose a reputable insurer who won't rip you off.

Once we submitted all the documents requested Healthy Paws quickly issued the payments and it was super helpful! Although the monthly premium went up at the renewal it's definitely worth it.

My 4 year old Shiz Tzu had surgery to…
My 4 year old Shiz Tzu had surgery to remove a neoplasm. I submitted her Vet Bill on Saturday and Healthy Paws paid it on Monday. I am so thankful I have insurance as I’m retired on a fixed income . Healthy Paws also has a free online Vet and it was she who told me to get my dog an emergency appointment. Save your money
We have found Trupanion is very expensive, and be careful of the claims pay 90%, it never ends up being that, it's always significantly less, and we have yet to have claims that have not been bungled on some level. Save your money, pay yourself the premium and use that for your pets care. I cannot recommend Trupanion after our multiple experiences with them over the past 3 years.
