My Very First Claim
I am new to pet insurance and the claim was not been processed and when I learned the reason it was because they have not received my dog's previous medical reports from the vet's office. Once they received my dog's medical report (my vet's office carelessness), my claim was processed quickly and now I am just waiting to receive any of the refunds.

I have three (3) fur babies all are insured with MetLife Pet, I cannot begin to explain their professionalism, understanding compassionate caring way they have for my babies. once a claim is submitted it is handled in a speedy manner, payment is also expediated in a fast easy way. Terrible experience
In my experience in dealing with this company, they search for any possible loop holes that could present an opportunity to deny benefits. Even when presented eloquently with data and several documents from specialists in the field as well as confirmation from my family vet, they still denied claims much to everyone's surprise. Everything at this point would be pre-existing and thus pointless to switch, otherwise i would have a long time ago. In the future I will be more careful about who i choose to do business with.

So far our experience has been good. If you are from Ontario with a Quebec area code, you will be transferred to an Ontario rep. Unfortunately, they will not be able to help you and you will have to wait again on hold for help once they transfer you.
