Frustrating Experience with SPOT Pet Insurance

After considering switching to SPOT for my pet insurance, I decided to test their service by submitting two claims. Both were denied due to "missing medical records," despite the fact that I had already provided the necessary documents from both myself and my pet's hospital. Even after having the claims reopened, they were ultimately declined again. Thankfully, I hadn't canceled my existing pet insurance, anticipating potential issues like this. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend SPOT Pet Insurance.

Embrace denies claims for many reasons…

Embrace denies claims for many reasons of which you basically have NO WAY to argue and or appeal. They deny ALL the time. They take your money but do not pay. The refuse everything and you basically have no way to argue. Forget trying to email them or call them. "No-Reply emails" are always sent. I would avoid them at all costs. I was not reimbursed, did not have the funds to help my dog and hence he subsequently passed. Embrace does not care about you only your money. Embrace will of course respond stating they care but they don't. Don't believe them when they respond - they will continue to claim "Pre-existing conditions" such as a wart on your dogs skin as a pre-existing condition to a tumor. I kid you not! They are horrible

SCAM & GRIMEY BUSINESS

Fetch Pet Insurance is an absolute scam. We filed a $9,000 claim for our pet’s medical expenses and received literal pocket change in compensation. Their policies are riddled with fine print designed to deny your claims, and their so-called “coverage” is a joke. They don’t care about your pets or their well-being — it’s all about the money. Avoid this company at all costs if you value your pet’s health and your wallet. Do yourself a favor and find an insurance provider that actually cares. Fetch is nothing more than a predatory business hiding behind a façade of concern for animals. Total disgrace.

The initial claim took every bit of 30…

The initial claim took every bit of 30 business days, which seemed a bit long since all documentation was provided the day the claim was submitted. Claim status stated pending medical history for several weeks, which was frustrating since all documentation had been provided and there was not much medical history to review. However, once I received an email stating that the claim had been processed the reimbursement was directly deposited in less than 24 hours.
