No Pre Certification
Our Jaxon needed a total hip Replacement. $20,000. Healthy Paws paid for all the tests leading up to the hospitalization and surgery. We have had Healthy Paws for our 2 dogs. For 5 years we paid premiums with No claims. My problem with the company was they would not commit to covering the Surgery/Hospitalization itself. This is a bad practice. We literally had to gamble on the fact that HP would cover it. HP made a very emotional time more Stressful. In the End they paid the claim and our Jaxon is recovering, thankfully.

I didn’t have to do a thing
I didn’t have to do a thing, I told the Vet we had the insurance she looked it up filed it and before the end of the visit y’all had paid your portion and I only had to pay half of what I was expected to pay! So simple, no reimbursements of any kind or anything!

It’s great that I can submit my forms by an app and get reimbursed in a timely manner. Charlie got sick, scared me so much. I knew I could take him to the emergency vet because I had insurance that would help pay for it. Peace of mind for sure!
