Claims process is too slow
Claims process is smooth. Claims processing and payment is too slow. Waiting for 3+ weeks for a claim to be processed and payment for claim is unacceptable. I front the payment for the vet bill via credit card and racking up unnecessary interest payments for slow payment of claim 😕

Embrace has been the best pet insurance…
Embrace has been the best pet insurance company for my cat. Their representatives are always patient and attentive. They work well with my cat’s veterinarians and collect requested documents thoroughly. My only complaint would be that the Embrace website and app have a habit of not working or showing the same information. Should your claims ever get duplicated or removed, it’s always best to communicate back to Embrace by phone. Once you are able to speak or email directly with one person, the claim process is much smoother.

This is a blessing!!! Everyone with pets needs this.
I’ve had pet insurance with pets best for over a year and you never hope you have to use it but that it will be easy and effective if you do. Well my pittie needed surgery on her ear and the total cost of treatment was over 2k. I submitted the claim and receipts to pets best and in about a week I was told my claim is being paid and I got most of my money back minus my deductible. I’m so happy we have this to make sure we don’t worry if we can afford our babies treatments.

DO NOT GET THIS INSURANCE BAIT AND SWITCH!
I obtained this insurance for my puppy who was a few months old. The dog does not have any medical conditions or issues. At the time of renewal, the policy went up by close to 40% despite the dog being one year old, having no conditions. In my opinion, this is is a bait and switch with low prices in the beginning to get you to enroll.

Excellent service
Excellent service, simple to submit a claim. They covered everything according to the plan without any delays. We received the reimbursement before the credit card bill came in. I have two dogs that are insured through healthypaws and I highly recommend this service. It really offers a "peace of mind" when unexpected health issues occur with your pets. Jasmine just had TPLO surgery, and it really took the financial implications out of the equation when deciding what to do about her knee injury. I will always have this service as long as I have pets in the home
