Good communication with claim department
Good communication when submitting claims. Easy to see the progress and how the reimbursement was settled (took a while to figure it out). Direct deposit was wonderful helped with the VISA bill for my pet's spenectomy.

More than just pet insurance.
I have a lot of good to say about this company, but the most important to me was when my beautiful Urial passed, I called to cancel his policy and was spoken to with respect. They treated me like I'd lost a close member of my family, which I had. I received a call the next day checking to make sure I was ok. And then received a card in the mail again saying how sorry they were and offering condolences. There aren't enough stars to give for how this made me feel. On other areas, the cost was reasonable, and when I had to take the cats in for Dr visits, the refunds were quick. Thank you Spot for caring.

Stay away from this company.
1). Extremely long hold times when calling customer service. 2). Changing definitions so they don’t have to pay. Submitted a claim for an xray on a congenital defect my puppy was born with. They say the “illness” isn’t covered because the xray was taken within the 14 day “illness” waiting period. The xray is not a result of illness. I had it done because my puppy went in for a booster shot and thought I’d save money having the xray done at home vs. Boston MA at specialty hospital. 3). At specialty hospital in Boston 2 months later, they are not paying claim for “illness” because now it is a preexisting condition. Seriously? This company is unreal. Stay away!!

Two puppy claims vs. One puppy claim
Overall my experience was good except for one minor problem. I put in a claim on two dogs and as of 10/28/24 I have only received a completed claim on one and am still waiting on the second claim to be completed. This may be due to the similarities in my puppies' names which may have caused confusion. Otherwise, the process for the first claim has been quick, efficient, and easy to understand so far.

So glad we made the choice!!
I love how easy it is to submit a claim & that Fetch covers our fur baby's ongoing expenses. He started having seizures about a year after we adopted him. My daughter had insisted we get pet insurance because he was son young. This is our 1st experience actually covering a pet, but I'm glad we did. It would have been truly heartbreaking if we had to put him down when these episodes started. We've had Fetch for 3yrs & have never had a claim rejected.
