Do not use for rescue pets
Do not use for rescue pets. Upon adoption (at 12 weeks, after finding in neglectful conditions and through a reputable rescue agency) I took my dog for an initial vet visit because he was scratching his ears and shaking his head. He and his litter mates had all been covered in urine, feces, and dirt upon rescue. It's not a wonder he developed an infection. This one visit in 2023 (and honest disclosure of said visit) has now rendered my policy void against ANY ear infections or allergies. Do not use this company for rescues, or enroll the day you get a pet, or sadly, delay vet care for your pet, otherwise this company will use it against you YEARS later when you try to submit claims for an allergy. I tried submitting claims in January 2026 and was denied.
