Obtaining pre-authorization before a dental procedure
I recently needed to get a pre-authorization for my cat's dental work. Rachel D. made the process smooth and easy. She offered to take care of getting medical records from previous vets and took the time to explain everything in detail. With her help Jack got pre-approved for his dental procedure. filing a claim was easy and a quick turn around for payment. I really like the option of direct deposit as well. I had to call customer service about adding to the claim and how my benefit work. they were very helpful and caring about my dogs case. I highly recommend them.
Waste of time and money
Denied claims for being a prior condition when there was no diagnosis prior to insurance being purchased Was not given the oppertunity to appeal or explain the claim.

In June 2024, my cat accidentally ran into something and scuffed it's head. In February 2025, he started sneezing. Both times I took him to the vet. I had forgotten to file the June claim, so I filed it along with the February claim. I was pleasantly surprised I was still able to file--I mean, I rightly should be able to. But, companies can have strange loopholes to not pay you. I was thankful PetsBest was still able to file my claim, even 9 months later.
