Greedy company increases premiums by 80%
I was with HealthyPaws for 12 years. I canceled my policy when they jacked up my premium from $50 a month to $90 a month and refused to work with me on price. STEER CLEAR. They were a decent company 12 years ago but they are greedy and not at all customer-oriented now.

I had a bad experience with this company, I brang my dog to the doctors , I submitted my documentation for refunds for my visit to the veterinary , we pay around 4,000.00 in visits they never refund a penny , I submitted documentation every time they send me emails that they missing something , doctors give me all documents and still never send me no money back , I don’t recommend this company for your pets.

My experience started 5+ years ago with Embrace and they have been AH-MAZING. I highly recommend them. Reasonable pricing and very fast payment. I'm really grateful for an honest insurance company with such fantastic service.

Bella has been insured by Trupanion for over 12 years, and I can confidently say it has been a lifesaver. Without Trupanion's support, my beloved dog wouldn’t have survived breast cancer, nor would she be receiving the care she needs now for heart failure. Because of this incredible pet insurance, I’ve had the financial freedom to choose the very best care for Bella, giving us precious years together we might not have had otherwise. Every time I see a significantly reduced bill at the veterinarian, I feel overwhelming gratitude for Trupanion. Their coverage turns an otherwise daunting expense into a manageable one, and for that, I’m more than okay with rate increases—I know the value is unmatched. I have always given Enbrace five stars. Maybe it was volume related, but the time of reimbursement was a bit longer then usual, even after I went to the Vet to get the added info that was required,

On the fence with Embrace
On the fence. My baby takes allergy medicine because he gets itchy. Embrace predetermined this as a pre- existing condition . Which means they will not cover his medication, whatever I knew that going in. However he came down with a double ear infection last week and they would not cover because they attributed it to his dermatitis. Ridiculous my vet said it was bacteria in his ears has nothing to do with his allergies. For the premiums I pay, this is blatant looking for excuses not to pay. I’m going to be looking at other insurance companies to see if I want to stay with embrace. The stretch between dermatitis and ear infections is just ridiculous.
