Easy of direct billing
Easy of direct billing and correct mistakes in the billing process, coverage level of care. My only complaint is that the veterinary specialist and emergency consult should be covered as these are NOT normal veterinary events. Seeing a veterinarian for regular health checks is a normal expected cost.

Happy First time claimer through Trupanion
First time claiming through Trupanion. Not only did they pay my claim quickly, send me an email explaining what was paid and why, but someone (yes… a live person) called me to make sure I understood and to answer any other questions. I had additional claims against the same illness and those were also paid quickly.

Definitely Not Affordable
The insurance was definitely not affordable. Also I find it disturbing that you would not cover an injury due to it being hereditary to the pet. I really don't care who else is doing it. Somebody needs to be the one to set a better standard of care.
