Great experience
Our Morkie, Maserati became ill quite suddenly and had to be rushed to the er Vet. 3 days and a lot of cash up front she came home. after getting all doc's submitted to Healthy Paws, it was only 3 weeks we received our remittance. in time to repay our credit card. It was quick and professional.

Trupanion Won't Pay!
My fiance and I purchased Trupanion insurance for our puppy 3 days after bringing her home to ensure we would be secure for the rest of her life. Not long after bringing her home, our puppy was diagnosed with a liver condition. Trupanion refused to pay for anything related to this condition, claiming it was a "pre-existing condition". Our puppy came with a vet record stating she was healthy, so this was not a pre-existing condition. Trupanion will find any excuse not to pay! Because Trupanion refuses to help us with the medicial bills, we cannot get the ultrasound that our puppy desperately needs. I have heard of Trupanion doing this before, and now I see that it is true. We have cancelled our insurance with them.

Amazing Service & They TRULY Care About Your Pe
I was scared when my cat did something out of the ordinary and swallowed plastic and we had to take him to the vet. But it wasn't just the anesthesia, X-rays, and other procedures that scared me--it was the price tag as well. ASPCA covered a lot of my claim AND they were truly concerned about my cat's health, making sure they asked about his health every time they called to go over the claim. It was really sweet and they made a really scary experience so much better/easier to deal with. THANK YOU!

What a Great Idea!!
When we rescued Ledger we decided to get insurance for his health. It was the best idea we've had in a long time regarding our animal friends. The response is immediate and we don't worry about being unable to care for him when he gets ill. We just call the vet, knowing we are covered. My only complaint: Our premiums seem to have gone up since we have used the insurance.

Great insurance
Trupanion is great, I never have a problem with them, I receive the checks within days of my claim. My dog was diagnosed with KCS last winter and they have been paying for 90% of all the cost, which is a huge help. I recommend it to anyone

Cat Renal Failure
I signed up for this insurance just before my cat's annual review. Blood work was done and it was determined that she had renal failure. Paperwork was submitted to Trupanion, and it took awhile before I received reimbursement. By this I mean like 8 weeks. Once the subsequent paperwork was submitted, I received better turnaround response from Trupanion (approximately 2 weeks). They are very friendly too.
