I am taking the time to say what a wonderful job Pumpkin is doing supporting pet owners in their times of need. This company has it dialed in and keeps their promises. We are so grateful we have Pumpkin pet insurance on all of our pets, its been a true blessing. They processed our very large claim and paid it out with no questions asked. Thank you to whomever is sitting in those offices making decisions, you are providing an amazing service. 10/10 highly recommend.

Compassionate and affordable
I'm very thankful I switched to this insurance company last year. I was being priced out of the other company (Embrace) as my dog got into her senior years. Spot provided packages and coverage we could afford. I did have a vet check before switching and there was one pre-existing skin tag we later had removed that they didn't cover. But I felt that was reasonable and they covered the majority of the surgery because we were removing new ones as well (less our deductible). Fast forward and our dog developed a large bump super fast. Had it removed and biopsy and it was mast cell cancer and super nasty. They covered the majority of that well, less our copay and the claim process was pretty easy and fast. When the bump came back and started spreading, we knew that was it for our almost 14 yr old girl. We had a mobile vet come and put her down and I filed our final claim. They not only got to that pretty quick, but they turned off the billing for her automatically the day after she died without me having to call. And yesterday, the sweetest representative phoned to give me heartfelt condolences and ask how I was. That was the most human, compassionate, and thoughtful decision a company has made in a long time. I would highly recommend. I've only had good experiences since switching.

Just signed up our new adoptee to Pets Best. Decided to include Well Care. Shortly thereafter had our initial Vet visit and submitted that claim. The process was simple and straightforward. The claim was processed and paid in quickly and with a clear explanation of coverage. So happy that we chose Pets Best.
My experience with Pumpkin Ins.
I have had 5 GSD’s for the past 25 years. In the past 5 years I realize that having pet insurance is a must specially now days when veterinary expenses have more than double. When you have a pet (dog) like a German shepherd they become part of your family really fast and you will sacrifice any expenditure to see them well again. In my case my German Shepherd has had a couple of emergencies that require hospital stays and the charges were astronomical. Pumpkin ins came to the rescue very fast and reimbursed me for almost 90% of the charges after the deductible were met. Pumpkin has excellent customer service guiding you thru the claim process while speaking to a real person. I am very happy with pumpkin pet insurance as of this date.

This company is a complete scam. Their platform and app never work, it takes WEEKS to get a claim filed and there’s no way to get any information about the process, you will wait hours on hold waiting to talk to a real person, and when you finally do they all act like it’s not their job to help you. No one has answers. They deny everything you submit. There’s a reason all of their comments are turned off on social media.

Submitting the claim is super easy and you get a response within a day or two. The funds are put directly into your account within two or three business days. Super great company to do business with. I've recommended to many family and friends.
