Zero If the website allowed me. Please, I urge you to go read Embrace's reviews and responses to said reviews on the BBB website. The reviews are more detailed so you know EXACTLY what Embrace's does and does NOT due after they have taken your money! Bottom line: They don't review your pet's medical history prior to purchasing a policy. They self diagnosis your pet with pre-existing conditions and illnesses even when a Vet has NOT, even with medical documentation of no such condition/illness. Then deny, deny, deny!

Do not go through Trupanion read this first!
Do not go through Trupanion. I have a six-year-old dog and I have invested $7000. Anytime I put in a claim Trupanion tells me, “she has a pre-existing condition” which is not true. I purchased my dog at 1 year old. How could she have a pre-existing condition at age one. I purchased her from a breeder and she was a show dog before I owned her. I would advise anyone looking at getting pet insurance to not go through Trupanion as they are just a money grab. I have now cancelled my insurance because I have already invested enough for a surgery or two which my dog doesn’t need. I have waisted my money on Trupanion to get 0 coverage in return.

The time and care the was given by every staff member I spoke with was amazing. Unfortunately we lost our boy this year and it was a very hard thing to go through. Calling to check on us was such a thoughtful thing to do. Also receiving a hand written note from Betsy was very nice. She was so kind the day I spoke with her. I highly recommend.

Words really can't express how grateful we are to Spot. Last year we adopted two young rescues and I researched online and went with Spot. Previously I had picked a well known insurer for my late Betty only to have them deny every claim. Honestly I never expected to use Spot this soon. Our 5 year old Pembroke Corgi Tater, perfectly fun and healthy fell down to a series of seizures over night just a week before Thanksgiving. He was in the ICU then home then right back to another more specialized ICU. After an MRI, it was found our sweet boy wouldn't make it as he had 7 brain tumors. Absolutely devastating to us as we loved him so. Spot insurance was so simple to file claims through the app, they never questioned me, paid immediately (the bills were 9k). and not only sent me a kind email letting me know how sorry they were for our loss but they also called! The kindness was heartfelt and so very appreciated. I will always recommend and be grateful to Spot.

We’ve been using Spot for a few years and have never had an issue with a claim. It is easy to submit a claim and paperwork, Spot reaches out to the Vet’s office if they need more information, they keep me informed of progress, and processing and payment are fast. Fees are transparent, customizable, and reasonable. I would highly recommend Spot to anyone. In general, I greatly appreciate the peace of mind from having pet insurance and I’m so glad to see it widely available now. We know that if our dogs have a major health expense, we’re prepared and will be able to put their health first without getting into a bad financial situation.

So far, I’ve had a good experience I was able to submit my claim and get the money back that covered using the card that I had to at the time it was fairly simple. I hope in the future will be the same if I have to use you guys again.

Just Another SCAM Insurance Company
It has been the worst pet insurance company. We also purchased wellness coverage for both dogs. They claim to cover so much until you file a claim. This crap company denial rate is through the roof. They have no staff to help, your claim sits for 4 to 5 weeks before they deny your claim. Customer service is for sh_ _. After another denied claim even my vet wrote in letters correcting them and hey denied it again. It cost us $129.00 a month, we spent $3,800.00 at the vet's office and received $33.60 back with a $500 deductible. Everything comes back as PREEXISTING CONDITION. My dog has an ear infection 2 YEARS before this insurance and they label it as preexisting. MetLife salespeople told us items such as vitamins were covered. Their claims department denied vitamins again with the term PREEXISTING, preexisting because she was on them before the insurance start date. RUN away from this company and just think what they do with their other lines of insurance. The experience and service beyond terrible. I recommend that you never use MetLIfe Pet insurance.
