Easy
I wasn’t sure the rattlesnake vaccine would be covered. Filed easily on app. Received notification it was covered and claim was paid .Quick and easy!
Crazy difficult to get they to work on your claim!
They are delaying the decision on the claim in every possible way. The first claim has been going on since November 2024, it is now May 19 2025 and still "in process". They are just dragging out time so that you continue to pay monthly. Ridiculous, we paid them for almost two years, our cat did not get sick, but broke a fang, insurance covers this case, our vet provided medical records and all the documents, but Healthy Paws kept asking for more and more documents, more exams, this lasted for three months, as a result, the claim was closed, in March 17th they received another veterinary exam what only they wanted for the claim. So for two months they have had all the documents what they asked but they only respond back that "review of the claim may take 10-14 business days"and repeat to ask us by email for the same vet docs what they have already! This company acts like a scammer. Tomorrow we will call to cancel this insurance and then send a complaint to BBB. P.S. The problem was fixed by London, Healthy Paws Customer Liaison Manager. The claim has been approved for payment at last. Thank you.

Company more than doubled my pet…
Company more than doubled my pet premiums with little notice. No explanation and I had to call in to find out why. I couldn’t get an acceptable answer. Now I’m stuck with this company due to pre existing conditions which really upsets me as a consumer. I thought my premiums were stable.

Pets Best has the EASIEST claims process I’ve ever encountered. Snap a pic, upload, DONE. No dillydallying! Claim was processed in 72 hours, and out of my $192 bill, I got back $161. Extremely user friendly website, clear cut instructions, and friendly customer support will have a customer for life in me.

Don't pay attention when reviewing
I have had a lot of trouble with getting claims processed correctly. Often they process for the wrong pet, or don't pay correctly (i.e., pay more for the wrong pet, less for the other). The new claims issue is they state my cats' receipts aren't legible. That's impossible - clear as can be. Their email says to check out the claims in the portal, but neither claim is there for either pet, and there is no correspondence in the portal. I just resubmitted 2 wellness claims from Feb! I don't know if they're working from home and getting interrupted
