Astronomical Premium Increases Each Year
The monthly premium increased dramatically each year starting in 2013 from about $35 per month to their new proposed premium of $143 per month. Several other top rated companies have offered me the same coverage for my 8 year old dog in the $45 range. I have made only a few small claim over the 7 plus years I have had my dog insured. I urge everyone to avoid using Healthy Paws insurance.

Submitted my claim online and it was approved and reimbursed within 2 weeks. Easy and convenient. Excellent service.

This is not the best it's a fraud and should be ashamed to have its name!
It took over a full month to process 1 claim and I was not one reached out to. They barely covered 28% of the visit and gave some unlogical reasons on why. This is such a fraud and scandal. I will be submitting a course of action through my employer so this doesn't happen to hard working Americans.

Always accurate and responsive
I bought coverage for my dog, Scooter and not long after, he became diabetic. As a result, I had frequent claim submissions which were always paid accurately with communication throughout each step.
We lost Scooter recently and incurred significant expenses. Pet's Best paid all claims promptly and immediately issues a refund of unused premiums paid.
In all the years I had their coverage, I never found any fault in any of my interactions with them. Highly recommend.

Direct billing would help
Generally very good website. However, would be great if the vets would accept direct payment from insurance company to limit the time-consuming task of uploading claims one by one.
