Dismissive Customer Service and Wasted Money
Customer service was incredibly unhelpful and dismissive. This experience made the trauma of my pet's end of life very disappointing, upsetting and I felt incredibly unsupported. I also felt that the cost spent over the 12 years of my pet's life for pet insurance coverage has been an absolute waste based on this experience. I have spent thousands with this company to be completely dismissed for minor issues (stating all claimed medical visits were due to underlying issues with no medical evidence of such) or being told my pet's euthanasia would be covered with reimbursement when it was applied towards the deductible of a canceled policy for a pet that was no longer living. It is incredibly disappointing to place your trust in a company and to have them not be helpful, and customer service inconsistent, when you need it. I would not recommend this company to any other pet owners unless you want to do most of the work for their customer service team.

Avoid Pets Best
My claim was denied for a pre existing condition completely unrelated to the claim. Customer service is terrible and I spent hours on hold on to be told about a lengthy appeal process. I canceled the policy, never received my refund and spent hours on hold again chasing it down. Horrible company.

Your agent failed to inform me that as an ‘elderly’ person I could get a less expensive policy thru Walmart which has partnered with Nationeide to offer senior citizens a lower rate!!!!! Booooo. I will be cancelling this transaction and filing a dispute thru my credit card. I expected more from you!!!
