When the chips were down you were there, thank You Trupanion.
My dog developed a cancerous tumor. It was a costly surgery but absolutely necessary. Trupanion paid a large portion of the bill making it possible for her to have the surgery. Thank you Trupanion! Without your help I don’t know what I wold have done.

Easy to submit claims and added peace of mind
Claims are easily submitted. I have been using the vitusvet app. The turn around time is fast. Claim submittal is convenient and my funds are deposited directly to my account. Having insurance gives me peace of mind and helps me to not worry about the what ifs.

Trupanion pet insurance is absolutely wonderful.
I’ve had Trupanion pet insurance for over seven years and my experience with them has always been excellent. They process claims quickly. Their customer service representatives get a 10 as they are really nice and efficient.

Nitpickers
As anticipated they nitpicked the invoices and excluded as much as they could make an argument. It seems pretty much like most medical insurance companies that really don't want to pay. We can live with the nitpicking, that was expected but it too countless emails and calls. Regretfully the pandemic the nation was hit with exacerbated an already defined slower process. Final results were ok but if I had not been a pain in their *** I suspect it would be extended for months. I can't say in the end I did not get paid but they tried.

Reassuring
It's always scary to get the vet bill and wonder how much will be covered by insurance. Filling out the Nationwide claims was pretty straightforward and could be done completely online. Responses were timely and we were sent a reimbursement check immediately after our claims were approved.
