Blessed to know that my fur baby (Harmony) is WELL COVERED for most everything she needs!
I am so thrilled with the coverage and care that Harmony gets through Nationwide Insurance. My Vet's office processes ALL my paperwork through your system seamlessly! Within DAYS ♥☺ I have a DIRECT DEPOSIT into my checking account - HOW GOOD IS THAT??? We are TOTALLY happy, satisfied, and comforted by the ENTIRE process that you have set up. Also, the 24/7 hotline has really nice people on the chat and answers questions. This is a WIN-WIN-WIN for us. I have already recommended friends and family☺ Best thing I ever did to help me take care of my little girl! NO WORRIES - just AMAZING CARE and PROTECTION! THANK YOU SO MUCH for your coverage. HUGS and WAGGING TAILS... B.A. Suder and Harmony

Very fast and helpful company
I was a bit confused on what was covered and what wasn't. Once I spoke to an agent on the phone they cleared that up for me. Filing claims is very quick and easy going thru the app.

Saved my 4-legged doors life
I am 77 and on a fixed income. We got this insurance for our last Chessie, and carried it over for Nicky Bella. Nicky was recently diagnosed first with a Cruciate Ligament Tear, but when we went for the surgery, discovered that she had a bulging disc which had been exasperated by the recent X-Rays. Nicky is my Service Dog, and a beloved family member. Had it not been for the insurance, there would be no way for us to pay for all of the recent expenses we have incurred so far, and the ones that will be forthcoming. She will soon receive her 2nd epidural for the bulging disc and a re-evaluation to determine if surgery is needed for the Cruciate Ligament tear. She went downhill fast and we thought we were losing her. She had major dysentery probably due to a combination of the pain meds she was on, and had stopped eating for several days. Because of the treatments we have been able to give her, she is making remarkable progress, and right now, it looks as though I will have my beloved service dog and friend for a few more years. I could never thank Nationwide Pet Insurance enough for the support I continue to receive. You are literally saving not only Nicky's life, but mine too. Cannot thank you enough.

Helps out for us, our Jasper is on Thyroid and Allergy meds. Nationwide takes care of it. Easy filing we just fax in the claim.
We have the medical plan for illnesses. Dropped the wellness plan fortunately our vet does a vaccination clinic so shots are at a great discount.

Awesome!
I have an almost 6 year (?) old German Shepherd rescue from the pound. Purebred and no health issues, but as an active breed we sure do need insurance! I have the Wellness and Nationwide has been awesome. I switched from Figo last year and never used it because it didn’t cover much. Nationwide is worth the monthly cost since they have covered flea & tick and heart worm meds as well as a foxtail in the ear and a hurt rear leg in just the past four months. I just hope my rates don’t go up!

The whole process went very smoothly and quickly.
I was very pleased at how easy the whole process was. I received my check within two weeks of the claim. They even emailed me to check in on my dog and see how she was doing. I would definitely recommend this insurance company to other pet owners.

Take the money until you have a claim, then they don't pay
I had been with Trupanion for 8 month. No issues, no complains. They start charging me since I sign up, no big question asked. They told us that if anything happens they will cover us. Due to a virus or something, my two dog got sick, took them to the emergency, fill the complain with Trupanion and the nightmare started. From the begging they show of how they are not willing to pay. One of my dog was denied since he already have diarrhea once. Seems that getting sick is a preexisting condition. For my other dog they start asking for their previous vet record. I wonder how they didn't ask them on the enrollment process. This clearly show how they are happy to get your money but they are not willing to pay the bills. Just looking for an excuse. Horrible company, we ask for a refund since they were never covered, they call us to cancel the future payment but they are not honoring they commitment or refund us they money they took.

Claim review needs more information
The website does not provide enough information or comprehensive information to allow us to track our claims without having to call and get more information not shown. Really need to update website and make more user friendly so that we don't have to call everytime we need information.

Nationwide Pet Insurance was a good idea
Our little dogs (chihuahua - rat terrier mix) are family members. The smaller one (9 lb.) developed a heart murmur, requiring an ultrasound. Insurance covered nearly all of it She was put on a medication to manage pulmonary hypertension from a valve insufficiency. Then 2 weeks ago, both dogs were bitten by venomous snake (rattlesnake, we think), requiring antivenin. Insurance covered nearly all of it. Then, the one with the heart trouble developed an autoimmune disorder where her white blood cells were attacking the red blood cells; could be related to snake bit; was nursed back to health requiring steroids and days on IV. Again, insurance covered almost all of it. All of the medical issues caused us much anxiety, but at least we didn't have a financial issue on top of it! Both pooches are much better now. Thanks, Nationwide.
