I recently changed from VPI to Embrace. The weekend after my 15 day waiting period was up I noticed something wrong with my pet's eye. A visit to the vet began an on going amount of visits to an eye specialist and neurologist. Embrace had to process my claims and look at previous vet history at the same time, as I was just past the waiting period. They were fast and kept in touch with me the whole while. They paid what the insurance said they would pay in a prompt manner. I am very pleased with them and have recommended them to my vet's office and friends with pets and also added my other dog onto the plan.What a pleasure after dealing with VPI who told me what the vet should have charged and what they would and would not pay. I, too, wish I had know of Embrace earlier.

I have been so very pleased with Embrace insurance company. Their correspondence is kind and quick. There are no unwanted surprises! They follow through and do exactly what they say they will do. If only human health insurance worked so well!
Their service is impeccable. They are thorough, attenttive, honest, and upfront. They are the answer to the healthcare crisis in this country. Of course, I'd prefer if dental and drugs were covered in the annual plan...but I'm sure there was an option for that, that I likely opted out due to increased monthly payments. Quick response to claims
I've used VPI in the past and found that Pets Best is much faster in responding to claims that I fax. The cover a fairly good amount of cost, I would like it if they did cover heartworm prevention though.

This was the first time my husband and I had ever tried pet insurance and we were not expecting much! We submitted a claim and were asked for more info. Our claim was completed quickly and fairly. Our claims adjuster was pleasant and we could actually communicate with her! I would definitely recommend Embrace. The rates are also a great deal compared with other companies. The policy options make sense and give us peace of mind.

No Worries with this Company
After a horrible experience with VPI and a semi good experience with Petcare, I found this site and saw all the raving reviews for this company, so I decided to try it out. I just want to thank everyone for your input becuase this company is absolutely fantastic. 3 months after my plan went into effect my dog began having seizures, I was a little worried that the company would try to say that it was pre exisitng since it had only been 3 months since i got the insurance, but i was so wrong. they emailed me to update me on the progress of the claim and was very helpful in trying to get information, going so far as calling the vet themselves. They remained professional and so caring. I really wish I would have discovered this insurance in the beginning, but I'm so glad I'm signed with them now. Embrace is the perfect name for them, they truly embrace you and your pet.

An outstanding pet insurance company
They are an excellent, caring, and professional company.I had problems with another pet insurance company and they stayed with me through it all and were very supportive. They communicate with you on a constant basis and answer all you questions. I highly recommend them and it is wonderful to know that they really care about pets and their owners. They always pay!!! Most pet owners get insurance after their pets have been sick or injured believing that next time they will be covered. NOOOTTTTT. My dog was hit by a car and I spent $2K on vet bills. I got insurance and a few months later his hip was showing problems. Cirgury and therapy were over $3K and VPI would not cover because it was "pre-existing". My sister's puppy swalloed a rock and it cost almost $2K to remove it. She got a check on the mail in less than a week for 90% of the cost. Lesson learned. I'm getting Trupanion for my next puppy.
