Absolutely the best value best service
I have had several Pet insurance policies, but they were not "universal". Pets best is fabulous. It will cover my animals not only in Colorado where I live, but elsewhere. The value is positively fabulous. I have had 3 claims this month, and PetsBest has paid them quickly with no hassle. They are professional, caring, and a delight to work with. They are underwritten by Aetna, which is my insurance carrier! What can be bad! I strongly recommend PetsBest for your pets health needs.

Stubborn claims department
After a year as a Trupanion customer I have decided to drop the service. The claims department is extremely stubborn and you have to full out forms numerous times to get through the red tape. Honestly the time I spend going to and from the vet for signatures, filling out paperwork, and on the phone is not worth the money.

new customer likes efficient service
I enrolled three pets in Enbrace Pet Insurance with optional coverage for routine visits, last month. This month I took all three pets to the vet 2 weeks ago, submitted the information last week and Embrace is issuing a check as of today. Communication seems quick and service is efficient. So, as a new client: so far, so good!

An excellent investment in your pet.
I wish I had acted on my instinct to get pet insurance when we rescued Calvin in April 2009. He was a goofy love everthing black lab mix who had been found roaming the desert of Eastern Washington . His dehyration had caused kidney damage so when I adopted him I knew he would need some TLC. He recovered very well with treatment. Then then end of October one evening he was acting off and obviously in distress. Off to the emergency vet we went. Surgery was required to discover he had had a duodenal ulcer that had perforated. He spent 2 more days trying to recover but he couldn't fight the infection and we had to let him go. Ofcourse you would do anything to save your pet, but having pet insurance would have helped with the $6000 bill. In January 2010 we adopted Dexter, another goofy black lab mix. He's a healthy young dog with a propensity to eat everything that isn't nailed down. Shortly after bringing Dexter home I enrolled he and our older dog Gracie in the ASPCA pet insurance. Within a couple months Dexter got up on the kitchen counter and nabbed by kitchen sponge. A trip to the vet to upchuck that was my first claim. A couple months later, another sponge incident and another claim. Then a couple weeks ago while camping in Montana he ate 'something' he found in the campground. That was a little more involved and could have ended up in surgery but he managed to pass the offender. My insurance on Dexter has more than paid for itself already and I urge

Best Best = Worst Ever
80% of my claims were, according to Pet's Best, was a pre existing condition. If you get a routine procedure done they are OK, but anything that is major or a continuing situation, don't count on then to pay! When I went to cancel them they told me that I would get a small charge because it was the middle of the month. No problem until we saw our automatic deductions, $53.44 taken out of our account

First Time User for ASPCA Insurance
I just signed up with ASPCA pet insurance, it was recommended by my friend in Cleveland, OH. I am in New York, and just submitted my first claim. I will keep you posted on how that turned out. I had researched VPI as well...so, we will see if I made the correct decision with ASPCA.

Why can't human health insurance be this easy?
I wish they had embrace for people! Seriously, Embrace is the best. Once I met my deductible the reimbursements for covered expenses happen within 2 weeks of submitting a claim, every time. I know of NO other pet insurance that covers genetic conditions... being a purebred Lab owner that means hip issues could crop up in the future. No problems yet, but it feels good to be covered. Best 20 bucks a month I could spend.

ASPCA has awesome plans and great phone workers!
I adopted my puppy 13 days ago and decided on the third day to apply for ASPCA insurance after the vet said they are great to work with. I could not believe how much they cover for only $88 a month! The lady who activated my policy, the man who made sure I had the correct vet listed & Shelly, the customer service follow-up person were all amazing!! They listened to me, addressed all my questions and concerns & even chatted with me about my puppy questions, which as a first-time dog owner, I have many. In walking my puppy, I have met other dog owners and none of them have pet insurance but when they heard the price and coverage, they wish they had gotten it before their dog had diabetes or other expensive, nerve-wracking illnesses. ASPCA is a small enough company that workers know each other, know your pet, and know you! So I pay my vet and then submit the claim to them and a month later am reimbursed 80%. I can see any vet and the preventative coverage is so wonderful, I know my dog will be well-taken care of and I will do a better job getting her to the vet so I can get my money's worth :)

Barking up the wrong tree
I am new at this as I've had my little Cockapoo for only about a year now. I have been spending a lot of money at the vet's but not as much as you, so far How much per month would be a good deal for me out here in Fremont, CA. This is out of context at bit but its really starting to bother me, and get me in trouble. Other tenants at my apartment complex are actually scared of my doggie!! A cute little, fluffy, sweet puppy, and this huge (Indian) lady became immediately crazy. I mean 5150 all the way. I couldn't get my dog to come to me but he was also freaked out about this lady screaming at the top of her lungs. I had to laugh cuz the scene was humorous. A little 10-15 pound Poodle holding a W 3 to 400lb lady! So how do I stop my doggie from barking at all passing people? I get so frustrated, he picks up on that and keeps barking.

Embrace pet insurance gives me peace of mind.
Over the years I have adopted animals, one at a time, who have been abused, neglected, injured and/or ill. Since they were not well, insurances I investigated would not provide benefits for their pre-existing conditions. While I wouldn't trade the love we shared for anything, veterinary care was very costly. I love my veterinary group because of the wonderful love and high level of care they give. When my little Eliza Dolittle went over the Rainbow Bridge last June, I mourned a bit, brought her little ashes home and then contacted my local shelter. Two weeks later a little kitten was found wandering city streets. Two weeks after that Cleopatra arrived at home. At the preliminary check up, my vet said, "She's a keeper! We won't throw her back!" And Cleo and I danced our first dance together. Staff was laughing with me as I sang, "I can buy insurance, I can buy insurance!" I asked which insurance is best. 'Course they couldn't say, but said many clients had the purple flyer insurace. Twenty-four hours later, so did we! Cleo went back a month later for her second well-kitty visit and I had a pre-printed form and I handed it to the receptionist and we laughed and danced for the help insurance provided me so I could help another lost animal. The vet submitted the form and right away I had an acknowledgement by email from Embrace, then claim status emails, then a check! The whole process took about 2 weeks.I was young and now I'm old. I earned a healthy salary, and now (like many
