Awesome

Our dog Precious is a beagle and we have had her for 7 years. She is very smart and has brought us many years of happiness. My husband and I decided that as she grows older,we want to make sure that she has great care should she require serious medical care. She is very curious and loves to go camping with us. We chose the plan that met our needs and have submitted several claims that were processed in a timely manner.I was impressed at the different types of plans, coverage and affordability. I have called ASPCA and have always received courteous and helpful information regarding my needs and questions. I would recommend this insurance to anyone thinking about the importance of insuring their pets.

AKC is ripping off its customers

JUST RECEIVED RENEWAL NOTICE. A RATE INCREASE OF 58% FROM LAST YEAR. $790 TO $1,248. REASON GIVEN. THEY NOW CHARGE ACCORDING TO SIZE OF DOG AND AGE OF DOG. MY IRISH SETTER IS NOW 6 YEARS OLD WITH NO HEALTH ISSUES. I HAVE HAD THIS INSURANCE FOR 6 YEARS. THIS INCREASE IS ABSURD. I AM NOW LOOKING FOR ANOTHER CARRIER.

Repeat Customer

In May 2009 we lost our beloved 13 year old Jack Russell. We then adopted two schnauzer mixes and decided we would try the insurance this go round. I did alot of research against the big names and finally chose this start up company because they were in Ohio and I wanted to support local businesses. I have been very pleased with the customer support and the quick turn around in processing claims. I will definiately continue to use Embrace Pet. I would not endorse a company in which I wasn't sure about their performance.

very good

We had to have a lump removed from our dog Henry's left leg and biopsied. The lab report was negative, no cancer and Trupanion approved the claim promptly and fully. The only delay came when Trupanion had to wait for my vet's office to send Henry's medical history (this was our first claim).

Healthy Paws keeps its promises!!!

Quite unexpectedly I ended up rescuing my little Ziggy in September who was destined for certain euthanization because he tested positive for heart worms. A couple of weeks later, I got an email from PetFoodDirect.com advertising the relatively new HealthyPaws insurance. Many years ago, an experience with pet insurance was horrendous, so I was wary, but on a whim I decided to obtain a quote, which I found to be reasonable. After talking with a representative, who was upfront and honest about coverage and pre-existing conditions for Ziggy and my other dog, Foxie, I decided to give it a try. And I am SO glad I did! Ziggy developed a lump above his elbow only about 2 months later, and it was diagnosed as mast cell cancer. Jen from HealthyPaws has been absolutely wonderful and answered any and all of my questions. I was assured that his care and treatment - whatever that would be - would be covered. Today, 1/03/11, less than 3 weeks following the initial discovery, I have received reimbursement for all expenses at the 80% rate I opted for when I signed up. I can't say enough good about this company! Best of all? The prognosis is great for Ziggy! I am so very glad I can consider only Ziggy's well-being and not finances - thanks to HealthyPaws!

Quality Customer Service & Timely Reimbursements

My 21mo. old dog recently had to have a significant amount of testing and blood work done to rule out some health problems. I was reassured to have my Embrace policy in place and be in the position to authorize the tests and better determine the cause of her health issues. During the process, I also received email updates from Embrace customer service reps as to the status of my pet's claim. I appreciated this and found it very helpful.

Been a great company for us!

Our 2 year old golden retriever has had a few incidents this year (bee sting in the face, pneumonia in the summer, GI problems -all were handled timely and very fairly - we have been very satisfied and happy that we found Embrace for him as a new puppy(which we highly recommend doing!) Very good recommendation from a good friend!

Glad to have ASPCA

"When we bought our Tibetan Terrier we immediately started searching for pet insurance and based on our research we chose ASPCA, and based on our experience so far this was the right decision. A couple of months ago our puppy caught kennel cough and struggled to recover from it, we had to make several trips to the vet and two rounds of antibiotics before she managed to recover. Submitting the claim was a streamless process, we did it all on line and the speed at which our claim was processed was great. We hope we do not have to use our insurance going forward as we want a healthy dog but it gives us great piece of mind to know that should we need to we can with ease, I would definitely recommend ASPCA to anyone"

Processing of Wellness Claims in 2010

I purchased pet insurance for two new Pomeranian dogs in 2010 (a 1.5 yr old male and a 2 month old male). Got both dogs neutered + had microchips implanted during the year plus wellness shots for the puppy. However, I delayed sending in the wellness claims until the end of the year and had overlooked the 60 day limit on normally submitting claims. I called the office before sending in the claims in December and was encouraged to submit everything even though some of the claims were over 8 months old. Embrace processed the claims very quickly and I did receive refunds for all the claims I submitted. The staff has been very professional over the phone and in sending me emails on the status of the claims as they were completed. I am a licensed insurance agent in California and would highly recommend Embrace for anyone wanting to get insurance for their pets.
