Fast and Reliable Witha Heart

Ive complained a few times to Pet's Best about little things here and there, but they were always in the contract. When my dog Howie an at the time 9-year old miniature poodle, dislocated his hip, they really came through. Howie was traumatized hind quarters, and when I took him to the vet in Bloomington, IN where I was living and teaching, the vet told me he had probably been hit by a a car because of the different sizes of his legs and the bones probably never set properly when I fond him in Kentucky. He had such bad hair, ear mites and required being put under anesthesia to bee-bees in his hind quarters. I insured him at about the age of six with Pet's Best, and when that predicted moment came when he dislocated his hip, Pet's Best was there, ready to pay or doctor and us. While they area busines,,and business is what makes this country moves, they have always addressed me with care and kindness... and they paid the 80% of Howie's fee that they said they would and even waived the deductible. This saved our wedding plans: we had the lowest insurance they offer (plus their excellentannual care program--which includes teeth cleaning-that I just can't thank them enoug for the work they do every day helping people. This is a company hat does wel as it does good. This was the crucial moment, and they were there.

Great Insurance

I would definitely recommend Embrace Insurance to other pet owners. When I first purchased the policy, I was impressed with their coverage and I really liked the numerous policy options. Now that we have had to file several pet insurance claims, I can only say that I like them even more. They have always been prompt and courteous in responding to my claims and questions. The coverage they have provided has been exactly as was stated in my policy. I did have trouble with one claim being denied, but I worked with Embrace and my vet to clarify the situation and rectify our problem. I definitely plan to continue our insurance with them.

Appreciate ASPCA claims efficiency, 11/22/2011

The claim forms are easy to understand and complete. The response time has always been acceptable as was the amount of the payment. We have five cats and presently insure two of them. We are considering insuring the other three. We have submitted several claims over the years and it has proven to be cost effective for us.

Outstanding

I had pets best insurance for about six months before my rott got really sick. My vet was unsure what was wrong with him but he continued to develop different types of symptoms. I had many trips to my vet and to the 24 hour animal hospital. $10,000.00 dollars later, it was finally determined that he had a rare immune disorder and since it was discovered so late, he had to be put down. I submitted stacks of reciepts to pets best and was awaiting some phone calls challenging some of the costs. To my surprise, the only thing I received was $7,000.00 worth of checks in the mail. Pets best made this devastating situation very tolerable for me and I am so appreciative to them for that. I recommend pets best to any pet owner I know.

Amazing, turns a sad situation into a positive.

Purchasing Embrace pet insurance has been one of the best decisions I have ever made for me and my furry family. I have been a customer since I adopted my dog and two cats two plus years ago. I am fortunate to say that my pets are generally in good health but I did go through a rough patch around Christmas of last year. I noticed a lump on my 3 y.o. beagle mix and took him to our regular vet. After biopsy, our vet had no idea what it is, gave us some potential diagnoses, most of which were some wort of cancer. My husband and I were devastated. A specialist visit, surgery, and thousands of dollars later my dog had a clean bill of health. I cannot begin to explain how wonder Embrace was. I remember my first call to my claims manager, she was so kind and compassionate, really turned a negative situation into a positive experience. I don't know what's in store for me and my furry family in the future but I know we are prepared to face anything with Embrace in our corner.

Trupanion is Deceitful

Trupanion's web site and their phone representatives leave off what I think is critical information about their coverage. The Web site, in more than one location makes a point of saying it's important for the consumer to know what is not covered by the policy, and then it lists a few things. However, when I filed a claim for physical therapy for an injury my dog sustained, they refused to pay it saying I needed to have purchased additional coverage for that. I checked the Web site again and my notes from when I bought the policy. The person I spoke with said hip dysplasia was not covered but she never mentioned anything else. On the Web, in the section where it allows you to compare Trupanion coverage with that of other companies, it has long lists of things not covered by the others but only two things listed for Trupanion -- hip dysplasia and pre-existing conditions. Why don't they list all the things they don't cover? One woman I spoke with told me that "Well, then, the insurance wouldn't be very appealing." I'm sure she was not supposed to say that, and she soon passed me on to her supervisor who kept insisting "We're not trying to hide anything." Don't believe it. I am reporting them to our state's consumer protection agency.

Worth every cent

Over the years we've had numerous dogs and cats who lived to be quite old, and we've never hesitated to spend whatever was necessary to provide them with needed medical care. When our female Akita became very ill at the age of 13 and a half, it took a toll not only on our family's emotions, but also on our finances over the course of the last year of her life. In just the last month, we spent over $3,000 for her care, before the vets found an inoperable brain tumor that ultimately was more than she could fight. When we adopted our next dog, a border collie mix, I decided to find coverage. After looking around and comparing, I began with ASPCA, though my mother had a different company. Now, almost five years later, we have three border collies covered with ASPCA Pet Insurance. I've always found the service to be responsive and prompt, and the representatives are all so friendly that I never mind calling with questions. The insurance has paid for itself - in peace of mind and in reimbursements. I noticed that one reviewer mentioned the pre-existing condition issue, and I'd just like to add that there is a simple (not very expensive) rider that takes care of that. By all means, get ASPCA Pet Insurance for your best friends!

The best investment I've made ever!

My experience with Pets Best is fantastic. I tell everyone I can how much a pet needs insurance these days given the cost of vet care and the great service provided by Pets Best (it far, far, far exceeds that of VPI). It is by far, the best investment I've made for ever!
