Happy with the pet insurance
I wanted pet insurance for my adopted terrier mix puppy, I talked to a couple of companies but I liked the coverage from ASPCA. Since I have had the ball of energy he has gotten into all kinds of things. Thank goodness for the insurance.

Just what I was hoping for!
After having several pets with extensive health problems, I decided that the next time around I would try pet health insurance. Well, after much research we settled on Embrace. Almost right away my rescued kitten started having problems. Embrace was everything I was looking for in a great insurance company. They responded quickly, have great customer service and covered everything I thought my policy would cover. I'm very please with Embrace.

Best policy to have
I have had banfield and VPI in the past, but switched to healthy paws based upon the reviews I read on this site and I am glad I did. I have submitted two claims so far and have experienced excellent customer service (I dealt with Meredith and she was awesome to work with; she explained all of the details clearly and demonstrated sincerity). For two dogs, my monthly rate is $75/$100 annual deductible each pet. This particular insurance policy assumes a responsible owner will pay for all preventative care and office exam fees (roughly about $30-40), which I am in complete agreement; pets cost money, if you want one, there will be an assumption of financial responsibility. I recently fulfilled my $100 deductible after just two visits and from this point forward, will have 90% coverage until next year. This is a great plan for responsible pet owners who want peace of mind in the event your pet suffers from an injury or illness. My dogs get all of their annual vaccs and heartworm check, but hardly ever get sick, but this plan sure came in handy when my chihuahua developed ringworm and a tumor.

Claim amounts are fair, but turn around time to be reimbursed are long.

Reasonable and Customary isn't even close
We wish the reasonable and customary amounts were actual for our area, the benefits paid were much much less than we expected, and we didn't see how the amounts claimed to be reasonable are at all aligned with our area. But, we are thankful for the coverage. Also, the time to claim payment is quite long, but they are thorough.

I'm Glad I Chose Embrace
When a new kitten entered our lives it was time to consider insurance. I reviewed several, and chose Embrace because it offered the most for the least, and in these days of recession, that's important! So far my claims for wellness have been acted on promptly and I have been amazed at how quickly reimbursement is deposited into my account. I would recommend Embrace to any friend.

Don't waste your money
Our Golden Retriever pup (purchased through a breeder) was the unfortunate recipient of several unknown genetic orthopedic problems within his first 8 months. Our claims were denied over and over again because his conditions were considered pre-existing since they were genetic. The xrays weren't even covered! It seems as though the only thing covered are injuries resulting from accidents.
