Very straightforward process, coverage was as expected
We made the decision to get pet insurance for both our very active dogs. The thinking was that if one of them hurt their leg, repair work might be expensive, and insurance would be an inexpensive way to take care of that. As it turned out, the company is very quick to pay out claims. The process is pretty straightforward. I have already recommended the company to a friend of mine. I think they offer a fair price for unforeseen, expensive treatment.

Healthy Paws was very helpful and easy to use when our dog needed emergent bowel surgery. We had no problems when submitting our claim and it was processed within a week. They also emailed us to check on how our dog was doing after.

Great Pet Insurance Policy
Thank God I listened to my vet in NJ and got pet insurance thru trupanion. My Becky has a hx of bladder infections. Hospitalizations, sonograms and medications, and eventually cancer of the bladder. Reimbursement is within a week of submission of claim 90% after deductible. Becky receives monthly chemotherapy which is over $700. We are very grateful to keep Becky healthy bc of Trupanion.
