I had a policy with my english bulldog puppy. The breeder offered a tril which waived all waiting periods. I picked the most expensive policy, Secure4 and made some claims in the first month which were clearly stated as covered in the Secure4 policy details. They denied my claims saying that my policy was not in effect, and then I found out they did not setup my policy correctly. I had to call and e-mail SEVERAL times to address the issue, and after 4 months, they finally reviewed and attempted to correct the issue. They promised customer service credits which I never saw, and after the second assessment denied a few claims AGAIN wrongfully. I have already switched to Trupanion they have much better claims process, a sliding (non-changing) deductible, and they guarantee 90% coverage where PetSecure reserves the right to randomly reduce coverage to 50%.

The Best Thing You Can Do For You and Your Pet
I joined Embrace Pet Insurance last March after I was told Jaxs would need his teeth cleaned. In April Jaxs went to get his teeth cleaned and in a matter of 2 weeks I received a $400 reimubursement from Embrace. Even the vet's office, who "pushes" a competitor was impressed with the level of coverage. I don't ever feel like I'm wasting my money, because Embrace knows my pets and knows me and that's more valuable than anything. After months of research I'm positive it's the one pet insurance that is worth the money. It's nice to go to the vet and be able to do anything it takes to keep my dogs healthy and happy. Not too mention, getting an e-mail from who processed your claim, is priceless. I know the Embrace staff, and we aren't just another claim, we are part of their family. I don't have much extra money, but I'm glad that the extra that I have can cover my pets for the rest of their life.

ASPCA Pet Ins. allows Emergency Vet Visit
I didn't hesitate to bring Cauliflower over to the Vet when we discovered she had a gaping hole on her backside, because I knew that I had insurance that would cover a good percentage of the bill. Cauliflower was at the same Emergency vet a couple of years ago, and it was the first experience with ASPCA Pet Insurance. I was satisfied with their decision, and that is why I continued with them. I feel they are fair in their reimbursement policies.

Easy and quick claim processing.
Our puppy had pancreatitis, which involved several trips to the vet including a Saturday visit to the emergency vet. Embrace processed and quickly sent us reimbursements to cover our credit card bills (after the deductible, of course).

I have a dog that survived distemper and have been with pets best ever since. Their claims are easy to file and have a quick return. When I do need to call them, I have naver waited more than 2 min to speak to a real person. The customer service is wonderfully helpful and informative. I hang up with them with a sense of ease and feel like the person i've just spoke with actually cares.

Thank God for Embrace!
Recently my pet became ill. He was vomiting/diarrhea, weight loss, thrifty coat. We had any and all testing done x-rays, ultrasound, Barium and blood testing. All came up fine. Still ill, so much so that we had to go ahead and do exploratory surgery. Well, weeks and thousands of dollars later and we finally figured out what was ailing our pup...a piece of one of his rubber toys!! It had created a partial obstruction in his intestines!Without Embrace pet insurance, we would have never been able to afford all this testing and surgery. I am a pet groomer and I recommend Embrace to anyone who will listen, especially owners with new puppies.

I like many others wasn't sure if I wanted to purchase pet insurance. I kept asking myself if it was a good investment or should I just start putting away $50 month for the "just in case fund". Lexi was 12 weeks old when she had her first seizure. At 14 weeks she had an MRI to determine what caused the seizure. I'll never forget the call from the vet informing me that Lexi had a severe case of Hydrocephelus and asked that I come in to discuss treatment. The odds of Lexi making her first birthday were slim to none but because of the exceptional care and insurance coverage from Trupanion we have been able to find the right mix of medication while giving Lexi the quality of life she deserves. We celebrated Lexi's first birthday in August! Over the past year Trupanion has never questioned a claim and has responded promptly on each claim submitted. Did I mention that Lexi's medical care has cost over $8,000 in the past year?So if any of you are asking yourself if pet insurance is worth the investment just remember my story. I brought home a healthy 8 week old puppy who passed her first vet check. The $50/month I pay to Trupanion has paid off in so more ways than I could have imagined.
